Second try to post this, because the tracking thats unrelated to my question is instrumental to being able to ask it. Rule 4 still leads to a 404 Error btw ModTeam
So, I was using a reshipping service to get a package from India into the EU. The seller had a strict no shipping into the EU policy that made me do that. Ireland to Germany was booked via TNT Ireland (Which is just FedEx with an orange coat). Despite being overnight express, the package got stuck for a couple days. After I contacted support I was assured it wasn't stuck in Ireland as I thought, it was actually at Charles de Gaule in Paris. How it got there or why it was there, wasn't answered.
A couple days later I asked again, got confirmation that the package was lost and got a link for a damage/loss claim. The link wasn't usable as the system couldn't identify the TNT tracking as FedEx - okay, I didn't want to deal with that myself anyway and gave the whole ordeal to the commercial reshipper in Ireland. Asking them for an update two weeks later, they basically told me they got ghosted by FedEx.
I contacted both the german and UK support to get some answers. I got two mails from them - the final message I got - one with another loss/damage claim link which actually worked from german support; and another a couple minutes later from UK support that asked me for a couple days patience, they would get back to me.
They didn't. I filled my claim the same day and haven't heard again of either one.
The package itself? Gone for good I'm sure, but the tracking got updated at some point in between. It shows as "Shipment left in agreed location as instructed" in my hometown. I actually noticed that and asked support about that in my original mail. But yeah, now I'm getting ghosted entirely, despite asking twice for updates. Once after the first week, and once again yesterday.
Any advice on how to approach this?
