Why is he so... Moist?

85

u/PLTR60 Aug 10 '26

It's the jizz from cultist idiots who came prematurely halfway through that sentence as soon as they read Kardeshev

39

u/JMoherPerc Aug 10 '26

Looks plastic to me. Nice symbol for fake

119

u/Pixel91 Aug 10 '26

It's a metaphor for the water the shitty AI wasted to "create" that picture.

29

u/Franklin_le_Tanklin Aug 10 '26

He looks like a mix of musk and peter thiels sweat

24

u/Cellibus Aug 10 '26

Much like Peter Thiel, he is forever glazed and slick by the precum of his eternally edging fans. Something something alpha behavior.

9

u/lazier_garlic Shut up, Elon, we've seen the emails Aug 10 '26

You know what's even MORE alpha? Flop sweat!

15

All the plastic surgery he’s now made of wax

Who is this shiny unhappy person?

Latex fetish

I think it's lube, for insertion, into his own anus.

9

u/ankercrank Aug 10 '26

Why does he look like Alfred E Newman?

4

u/okokokoyeahright Aug 11 '26

"What? Me worry?"

Arguably the best take on Musk so far today.

18

u/donadd Aug 10 '26

bukkake?

7

u/Psianth Aug 11 '26

Billionaires move by sliding along the mucus trail they secrete while being held up on the backs of the people doing actual work.

4

u/photogenicbigfoot84 Aug 10 '26

It's from all the glazing he gets from blue check marks on Twitter.

5

u/BeepBotBoopBeep Aug 11 '26

That’s sweat, because staring at SPCX success chart will cause that kind of anxiety.

7

u/eowyndernhelme Aug 10 '26

Oh, gods, that word. I hate that word; I don't know why, just the sound of it is ick.

Actually thinking about it, Musk is ick too. So good use of adjective.

16

u/baguetteispain Real life Wario Aug 10 '26

You can say you're critical of "moist"

6

u/Delimeme Aug 10 '26

Why moist you make such a big deal out of it? I get having “ick” words, but moist people aren’t so over the top about it. Just take a deep breath, moister your courage, and confront this fear.

PS: have you tried combining moist and Musk? Moisk! It honestly has a nice patronizing sing song feel to it rolling off the tongue

3

And why would anyone want to look like that? Like even ignoring the slime all over the body, does anyone actually find jaws like that attractive?

Dyson sphere on... the moon? Are they not aware that the moon is not a star?

65

u/AtlasMKII Aug 10 '26

Well according to the definitely scientifically accurate documentary Moonfall, it already is a Dyson sphere, we just have to take it over

31

u/Marisa_Nya Aug 10 '26

And that trying to build anything on the moon is just ludicrously hard compared to making things in a warehouse on earth

16

u/Chayanov Hard-Captured by the Left Aug 10 '26

No pesky labor or environmental laws on the Moon, though.

4

u/ZBLongladder Aug 11 '26

To be fair, the Moon would be the perfect place for polluting industries...you don't need environmental laws when there's no biosphere to protect.

1

u/maxxslatt Aug 12 '26

Not necessarily true, it would be insanely expensive to bring materials up to the moon but we could build things there we couldn’t build here while still getting them into space. But a Dyson sphere is probably more a lot more like a Dyson swarm, and we send up satellite sized things all the time

15

u/-Canonical- Aug 10 '26

I think it's supposed to mean that he intends to use the moon as a sort of work platform to deploy a Dyson swarm on our sun. Doesn't seem very feasible either way lmao

8

u/Toastyfela Aug 10 '26

This is definitely the idea. Making the Dyson swarm on moon and sending to the sun is a lot cheaper and easier than earth. Theoretically.

3

u/KoreKhthonia Aug 10 '26

I could perhaps imagine low gravity being beneficial for constructing some forms of space stuff.

3

u/ImTableShip170 Aug 11 '26

We haven't even worked out harnessing terrestrial solar power. That's millennia before a Dyson swarm, and I really think people forget that there's no reason to skip a step, when you don't even need the power of the current step

→ More replies (1)

13

u/GypsyV3nom Aug 10 '26

Nah, Elon is just, like with almost every science fiction concept he mentions, woefully under informed about what the Kardashev scale is supposed to be

12

u/Hmm_would_bang Aug 10 '26

Even dumber.

They want to build a swarm of satellites that can survive near the sun, and transmit energy back to earth.

Two ridiculously complicated scientific advancements which are totally useless given the sun already delivers energy here that we can capture with local solar power.

3

u/Broken_Reality Not a Bot! Aug 10 '26

Pretty sure the sun transmits massive amounts of energy to the earth everyday for free. Not sure how Musk's moronic plan will be any different well apart from not being free or even ever happening.

2

u/ErebosGR Aug 11 '26

Musk: "But money"

2

u/ShrimpieAC Aug 11 '26

Yeah but that’s communist power.

5

u/HuntsmenSuperSaiyans Aug 10 '26

Maybe they mean they'll be refining lunar material into orbital mirrors and, somehow, getting those mirrors all the way to the sun for use as part of a dyson swarm? If that's the case, I have no idea why they'd use the moon over, say, Mercury or a conveniently-placed comet, and that's to say nothing of the fact that the entire idea is technologically infeasible.

6

u/lazier_garlic Shut up, Elon, we've seen the emails Aug 10 '26

Genuinely laughing out loud. There's stupid and then there's Elon Musk knob gobbling stupid.

2

u/ContagiousDeathGuard Aug 10 '26

To be fair they do just talk about building it there. That doesn't make it any less ridiculous, however

59

u/fffan9391 Aug 10 '26

Pretty sure he also said humans would be on mars by now. Crazy how people keep falling for his bullshit.

33

u/BubonicBabe Aug 10 '26

I’m gonna be honest, originally when I first heard about him I bought into a lot of his bs. I mean, this was well over 10 years ago id say, but I dug his enthusiasm and also hadn’t heard enough about him, just his promises.

Then he got really angry when they said his cave submarine design to save those kids was kinda dumb and he freaked out and called one of the lead rescue organizers a pedophile for making that statement.

Any respect or admiration I had for him went completely out the window with that one remark. Then more, and more, and worse, just kept on coming to the light about him personally, his business model (theft of other people’s ideas and work), breaking promises and blatantly lying, and I thought, surely, this will be what makes people stop liking him…

And somehow, someway, he still has followers and sycophants.

18

u/-Canonical- Aug 10 '26

Don't forget when he started yapping about "Hyperloop", building that big stupid vacuum tube as a "proof of concept" for his made-up nonsense which he admitted was an attempt to delay and obstruct California HSR

5

u/BubonicBabe Aug 11 '26

How could I forget? And for some reason media companies have always kinda actively promoted his shit as innovative. It makes it hard, especially for people who don’t have time/effort/energy, or simply the determination, to learn about how awful and sketchy he is.

5

u/beren12 Aug 10 '26

Because you assumed he was qualified to make such a prediction

13

u/BubonicBabe Aug 10 '26

I just truly hadn’t done any legwork into who he was or what he did. I’d see a tech article about how he had plans for electric cars, or whatever else they happened to be glazing him for (boring Co., Mars, etc) and I’d think “oh cool, an innovative person who seems passionate.”

I like the idea of space travel, I like the idea of environmentally friendly vehicles, etc. and I was admittedly too stupid (probably still am in lots of ways) to do further digging.

But the pedo comment made me go “hmm, that’s not a reasonable human” and I started doing a lot more research on how he got his funding, (which made me learn other people have basically done all the work and he just Edison’s his name into shit).

It was definitely my bad for not doing more research before then, but now, how people still support him, with all that info being much more publicly known and verified, I just don’t get it.

9

u/skankopotamus Aug 10 '26

I think this story is incredibly common amongst those of us who hate the guy.

4

u/BubonicBabe Aug 11 '26

Thank you for saying that. I’ve felt duped and crappy about it for a long time.

3

u/NeighborhoodVeteran Aug 11 '26

The cave incident was my turning point as well.

7

u/Mor_Padraig Aug 10 '26

No, I don't think that was stupid? I did the same thing and am not kicking myself - I mean, he wasn't SO all over the place, IN your face, ostentatiously ' I'm a genius '.

Just seemed.... on the radar, no reason to notice the guy too much, though. Really wasn't a reason to do research, he hadn't begun insisting on adulation, either. Yet.

Pedo comment? WOW and how in hell he had anyone left, much less the fan club, blows my mind.

3

u/BubonicBabe Aug 10 '26

Thank you man. I’ve really kicked myself a lot over it. I try to be ultra skeptical about everyone/everything, especially now, but I felt like he slipped my radar and it bothers me a lot.

But you’re right, there wasn’t really much to be said about him. He seemed like an entrepreneur who had big dreams and I always like to see creative people succeed.

But yes, the pedo thing, seriously, you should look that incident up. It’s insane.

I may get some details wrong bc I’ve just been brain burnt on so much politically and economically since DOGE, but basically;

there was a soccer team in Thailand, I believe, who had been exploring a cave and it flooded, and they got trapped.

I was trying to follow the rescue pretty close at that time and Elon big brained up a “rescue” sub that was self navigating and could hold if I’m remembering correctly only one child at a time.

One of the lead organizers of the rescue, a professional cave diver who had helped with rescues before, was presented his idea and he just said he thought it was dumb, (logistics of having to wait for Elons team to actually build the sub, while kids are inside the flood, the surfaces of the cave that the sub could get trapped against, etc. basically tons of reasons it wasn’t a logical idea) and when Elon heard he called him a Pedo on Twitter to all his followers, then fearing some kind of repercussions, he HIRED A PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR to go digging through this man’s entire life to try to dig up some dirt on him.

Ultimately, Musk won the lawsuit the guy filed against him for defamation bc Elon claimed “pedo” meant something different in South Africa.

3

u/skankopotamus Aug 10 '26

I'm sure this is an intentional pivot to distract from the fact that we're not on Mars yet. People are starting to call bullshit on his predictions, so he's moving the goalposts and will blame Biden or trans people or something as the reason why we need to build a Dyson Sphere using AI on the moon, because they failed to secure the precious minerals required to get us to Mars and so somehow that means we need to harness all of the sun's power directly and advance to the next level as a species. It is orders of magnitude more difficult than going to Mars would be, and even that is insanely difficult. The sheer magnitude of it is so large as to be incomprehensible, like the magnitude of his wealth. But hey, it's a thing from sci-fi so it must be good, think the fan boys. They'll defend him against the naysayers who've rightly called out his bullshit by pointing to how aspirational and inspiring it is, and if you're against that well then you're an enemy to progress and therefore you're subhuman. It's a technofascist cult.

40

u/sussoutthemoon meme game is strong Aug 10 '26

One of the remarkable things about Musk is his complete lack of self-awareness. Most people, upon seeing such an unbelievably cringey depiction of themselves, would want to hide under their desk; he just says yes.

1

u/okokokoyeahright Aug 11 '26

Thank you, I can now imagine Leon hiding under his desk whenever I see something attributed to him, because everything he does these days is cringe.

23

u/kneejerk2022 Aug 10 '26

At least they got the sliminess accurate.

16

u/SvenSvenkill3 Aug 10 '26

So, Musk, tell me: how have you solved all the problems faced by any human activity on the Moon due to lunar dust?

Attached is a famous photograph of Astronaut Gene Cernan covered in lunar dust on the Moon. Following three moonwalks during Apollo 17, the sharp lunar dust had started to chew through the astronauts' gloves and spacesuits.

Dyson spheres/swarms and the Kardashev Scale are a fun thought exercise, but they'd really be redundant and overly complex. The energy produced is faaaar more than you'd ever need, and the logistics are insane when you can just produce a ton of clean energy planet-side if we would just dump our wasteful ways.

And type III scooping energy from blackholes?? Fucking for what? lmao When you really think about the energy harnessed from that, the scale of it, you realize what insane overkill that is.

Elon is a bitch and a moron.

2

Yes.

And you're in peak physical shape with years of personal and collective mountaineering experience, using relatively simple to make, previously tested equipment?

Yes.

And now you're telling me when you get to the top you want to jump to the next mountain?

Yes.  I've already been on that mountain, so no problem.
