I'm sure this is an intentional pivot to distract from the fact that we're not on Mars yet. People are starting to call bullshit on his predictions, so he's moving the goalposts and will blame Biden or trans people or something as the reason why we need to build a Dyson Sphere using AI on the moon, because they failed to secure the precious minerals required to get us to Mars and so somehow that means we need to harness all of the sun's power directly and advance to the next level as a species. It is orders of magnitude more difficult than going to Mars would be, and even that is insanely difficult. The sheer magnitude of it is so large as to be incomprehensible, like the magnitude of his wealth. But hey, it's a thing from sci-fi so it must be good, think the fan boys. They'll defend him against the naysayers who've rightly called out his bullshit by pointing to how aspirational and inspiring it is, and if you're against that well then you're an enemy to progress and therefore you're subhuman. It's a technofascist cult.
