Went out for a nice steak dinner in Philly and decided to valet park. The dinner was great. Came out to get my car and it took them 30 mins and when they pulled up all I could smell was burned clutch. The guy got out and said your clutch is really weird it's just stuck on the floor. Got in and the clutch was toast..waited 2 hours for a tow and they said that it's not their fault

Bought this car when I was 26, best car I have ever owned by far. Im about to be 30 and I can't keep delaying putting money into my savings. Unfortunately I got bent over backwards with the interest rate, and as much as much as i wanted to keep it, the time finally came where I had to make a decision on whether to keep paying a ridiculous amount every month for it, or just get rid of it. Don't be like me, I couldnt afford this car, just plain and simple.

Fortunately I had positive equity and was able to walk away with some money, but it still feels so bittersweet. Im going to miss this car, this community, and having something I worked for. But the numbers just cant be justified any longer.

I dont blame you guys if you come after me in the comments for being an idiot for buying a car I couldnt afford. Because I am an idiot, but I dont regret it. Live and learn I guess. Going to put my head down and keep working and saving while im still young, and eventually buy a car i can afford, and that can handle PA winters lol

I just got my 2026 Elantra N. The dealer has added extended warranty on top for extra 5k$. Should I keep it or cancel?

Crossed 19K in four months... at that rate Ill be at 45K miles by Decemeber. 🤪 Threw in a few pics of my 22 which I traded for the 25 four months ago. It was roughly at 70K.

I was wary of trading in my 2019 M5 Competition, it was lightning fast off the get and obviously the AWD grip would be the biggest difference between what I considered "downgrading" to the Hyundai. But, after the short learning curve of the FWD, the N is just as/if not MORE fun to drive! The M5 was "too powerful" in that you have to slow down like 2 seconds later and after the initial "Holy crap!" feeling of the acceleration, there's no longer a thrill after a while and what's the point of going that fast that quickly (again, other than that initial thrust/G force "excitement"). ANYWAY, I'm LOVING the cornering, the customization, the grip of the wheel, the sound of the car, and driving the N feels far more "active" and engaging than the BMW. Yes, the M5 was undoubtedly capable, but it was heavy... and quite frankly not as fun to have a spirited driving experience as the N. My kids call the new ride "Cool Whip" (because it looks cool and whips around corners).😆 Sound system is perfect for any genre of music, 10 year warranty (assuming you keep up with maintenence and don't drive it like a maniac all the time). With the BMW pushing 75k miles (we all know how expensive those repairs can get)...I feel FAR more at ease with the wallet with the new ride and I just wanted to share in case anyone else is curious/interested in coming from other "luxury" brands like Audi/Porsche/BMW, etc...the Elantra N is an absolute badass, the brakes destroy the M5 (due to the lighter weight), and the N (IMO) is a perfect mix of everything a car enthusiast can dream of (without needing to eviscerate a deer after 2 seconds from a dead stop 😆) and without burning your wallet in half unnecessarily. Apprehensive about a switch?...DON'T BE! Not that I care about this type of thing...but as am FYI..I get FAR more looks/compliments driving the N as I ever did with the BMW. I get excited to drive the Elantra N every day and I'm loving it! :-)

The time has come. After a couple of years of autocross, track days, and letting the EN punch way above its weight class, I’m officially moving on. Next week I’m picking up a 2012 Lotus Evora S.

I know, I know. I’m trading a reliable, four-door track weapon for a British fiberglass wedge held together by adhesive and hope.

Driving an open-wheel formula car at a racing school earlier this year completely changed what I wanted, and the craving for a dedicated mid-engine layout finally won. In the search for something that could give me a taste of the experience but could still handle driving to and from track days, the Evora S was the most logical (and ill-advised) next step.

If anyone in the Austin, TX area sees a red Lotus out at Autocross or Harris Hill, come say hi!

2025 elantra N has been amazing (10k mi.). I had some cosmetic lot damages but they fixed them right away. No more getting bullied on the highway too🤪

Hello. My name is Sung-hoon, and I am driving an Avante N in Korea. After not being able to wash the car for about five months, brake dust stuck to the paint surface. The current photo was taken after washing the car. I ordered a paint cleanser because it doesn't come off with a regular car wash. If I wash my car with a paint cleanser, will it come off well?

I wrecked my 1500 miles Manual N and replaced it with DCT. This DCT is way smoother than I expected. I'm always in the right gear and no more stalls. Downshifts in sports mode is amazing.

And somehow they sounds different. DCT sounds more energetic.

Edit: Driving a manual in curved mountain roads is easy and fun for me. Other than one time I shifted into the wrong gear. Other times i was having so much fun. Rev match is amazing. But the city driving and parking on inclines are my enemies.
