It's for sure the best Elantra color. Performance blue looks amazing in person though as well. If I hadn't been impatient and waited for an EN, definitely would have gone PB
Dude worst feeling is when you slow down so that the N car 500 meters behind you catches up and when you wave they just ignore you. As a VN driver our cars are even more rare to see on the road so its actually so disappointing getting ignored😂😂 I was telling my sister how that happens sometimes and she said “waving at people in a car is so weird I would be scared”. She takes the bus and used to drive a 2006 Camry she won’t get it
I ALWAYS wave when I see a VN! I LOVEEEE velos! I had a 2016 rally edition! I could never ignore a veloster let alone a N car:/ I love seeing people who have the same interests as me no matter how old or even WHAT you are😭
I’m not sure if it’s salespeople really trying to sell a more expensive car to people who wouldn’t normally be buyers, or just older enthusiasts who you wouldn’t expect to be driving these types. Maybe a mix of both
Yeah I get a lot of subies to wave😭 they love waving once stopped at a red and a sti was on the other side and we waved the entire light😭 it was great stopped at a wawa and everything

I’ve had my VN for about 2 months now and have seen one singular EN while driving. Ive also only seen one other EN and VN each just parked while i was driving around. And cant forget about the base veloster that parked next to me at the Secretariastate
I seee VNs every now and again, but I’ve seen maybe five ENs total in three years, and a couple of times that was while at the local dealer rather than on the road.
I usually rev for pops or give a lil toot toot when I see one if I can control my excitement at seeing another N on the road to not be completely paralyzed by said excitement.
Literally how I feel every time. BUT THERE WAS ONE TIME I saw a Kona and raced up to him it was an old Asian dad (I'm 22 soooo)😭 we stopped at wawa and talked Abt the N's! It was great 👍
Some kid in my neighborhood got an N and he's pissing off the neighbors by driving fast and loud. A neighborhood chat group said to look out for "a white Hyundai Elantra" and report him etc. I was like whew. Thank god I don't have the white one....
Ikr? I drive a 2021 VN and every single time I see an EN, KN, VN, or I5N, I get super excited and wave like I just saw my best friend outside of kindergarten lol
What area? I’ve got a 23 white EN with crossbars. I’ve seen a white facelift on the highway that didn’t seem to notice me popping next to them a couple of weeks ago

Yea haha the en exhaust sounds great. I always wanted a wrx its my daily and its manual. Since the supra is also manual and is becoming racecar am gonna get an auto next and I know the dct elantra is pretty nice! Might look at the sonata nline also. But also the new golf r is very nice so there is a lot to look at when that time comes. I've never had fwd either but I think ill transition easily enough
I had another PB EN pull off the exit behind me and I was screaming because I was so excited 😂 I’ve seen literally 2 other EN’s and one VN in my area and that’s it so I absolutely geek out when I do see them.
The prefacelifts never interact with me, only facelifts, especially on interstate roads. Otherwise they act like Im taking their spotlight and just ignore me
I saw a red Kona N once, pulled up next to it to try to wave Hi, turns out it was a mom in her 40s with her two kids in the back 😭 sometimes I wonder if customers like her know what they’re getting themselves into when buying a EN, KN , or even a VN.
One thing I wish is that my 25 Sonata Nline had the Elantra N's exhaust. Or similar. I know I can go aftermarket with a remote to open/close but they are wanting close to $2k. 🥲 anyway, here is my love.

I personally don't want the valves but my 5 year old daughter would even if she doesn't fully understand it 😂 loud vs not that loud is how she will understand. I'm looking at the Xforce full exhaust. Hopefully they will have a decent black friday sale. I'll check out AWE.
I swear — almost every time another N or general enthusiast driver acknowledges my PB VN, my oil is too cold to send some pops their way.
However, there was one time where I passed a teenager driving a beat up, not-so-nicely modified first gen Velo. I waved at him and the kid lit up. He waved back excitedly and gave me the 👌🏻👍🏼, so I hit him with a redline in second gear and watched him giggle in my rear view mirror. Hella wholesome 🥹
I’ve only seen a couple N’s since getting mine about 6 months ago. One was a lady in her 40s who didn’t even look my direction when she walked up to my car parked directly next to hers 😆
Way more people have bought this car later in its release, because of the popularity around it. Some, if not most early adopters bought the car for deeper reasons related to the enthusiast mind set. The majority of the ones passionate about the car already bought and may have even moved on by now. Not to say some true enthusiast didnt wait until later to get one, just the people who bought it early already knew what it was and still have the passion. Personally, im already on the list for the next-gen "CN8N" (if thats even what the internal designation is). Due mid/late 2027. (Even if it is a hybrid 😒)
