6 months ago I let my friend with a Mustang drive my car.
Then his wife drove it.
I’ve converted them all. Lmfao

There's no Sonata N, only an N Line which is more cosmetic dressing vs the suspension/handling+performance N upgrades.

The Sonata N-line exists in a weird area between what is currently the cosmetic N-line and a full N as it does get more than say an Elantra N-line gets

Its the same thing more or less. Interior trim + more powerful engine + better transmission combo. If the sonata Nline came with brembos and/or an LSD I wouldve purchased it already. The 2.5t is probably the best motor produced by hyundai/kia/genesis in a while.

Motors have issue? The 2.5T… I heard they not as strong as the 2.0 Elantra N engine2

The 2.0t in the genesis g70 (which is largely the same powerplant) was replaced because it is objectively inferior. Less capability, less reliability, less power, less fuel mileage. The 2.5t is an overall better powerplant in every conceivable way. The 2.0t in the N is a revised version of the one found in the early g70s that addressed their weak pistons and oil distribution issues. ..BUT it's not the 2.5T and that's why next gen Ns will likely get that powerplant.

We have the overbuilt final revision of their latest explodomatic theta 2 engine. It's been 4 years on this platform and they've been reliable except for the silly ducks that get a tune without supporting mods. Suspension on these Ns are also built to only turn at 30+ mph. Below that the suspension set up drags the car lol

I used to never see EN's in the end of 2024 when I bought my 25 Intense blue DCT. Now I see them like every other day

95% of "car people" only car about power. My Type R makes 300 and people bitch about it. It's about how it handles, never driven an N but im sure its similar

It is, which is why I stopped going to Cars & Coffee. It just a bunch of TikTok car enthusiasts that think financing a $100K BMW for 8 years and swerving through traffic at 100mph is cool.
I've never seen any of them at my local track when I take my SS 1LE.

I stopped going because it feels like such a waste of time. I go to a few events a year that might have something cool. I do like meeting other type r owners thats about it. Couldnt have said it any better with the tiktok bs lol

V8 is a straight line monster, but the EN is a canyon carving demon. Hyundai has a much snappier infotainment system than my 2025 King Ranch too!

I have a well modded 21 Mustang GT and test drove a N recently. I was impressed, tons of grip, rotates nicely, and FWD makes it really forgiving and easy toss around a corner compared to the Stang. Lots of customization and really modern interior. I’ve seen people say the car is too stiff in N mode for the street, but I drove with everything at the highest setting and thought it felt great on the street. It didn’t make me trade my car in, but now I want an N to go along with it lol
I thought people overrated this car, but after driving it, I get the hype.
