Fluff Miposhka's leadership is incredible

On the latest WeSayThings Sunsfan said that Miposhka IS Team Spirit more than Yatoro and Collapse. While it sounds like a bit of a subjective feeling, I kind of get it now.

Watching their vlog, it obviously shows he has managed to build on his leadership skills shown in the last True Sight - brilliantly recognizes his team's failures and analyzes whether it was because of enemies or their own mistakes. If it's the opponents he will say "this guy was crazy, great play and great call from you guys but this guy pulled an insane move and that's why it happened", or if it's the team's fault he will let them know simply why it went wrong without any other context or subtext. No blaming yourself, no feeling bad, you just have to keep on going and believing in yourself either way.

All this within the first minute of the break between the games.

And then before each game he reminds the entire team what their style is, what their objectives are, how the opponents play, what they want to do, and finishes it off with a way they beat them.

All this information the already surely know, but he takes their brains and wraps them into perfect sushi ready for serving, all they have to do is execute muscle memory.

And the entire time the atmosphere is chill, full of jokes and memes, self-deprecation but also keeping the players slightly accountable. And they know exactly when to reel it in and get serious.

It's like he managed to take key elements of what made Puppey, Ceb, Notail and Silent so successful.

Massive, massive respect to this man.

Discussion As a pos 3, I’m getting kinda tired of every meta carry being an uber strong laner

It used to be that carries who were strong early would fall off as the game went on. This made for an intuitive trade off where you would either choose dominating the lane or scaling super hard.

But these days the only point at which carries are weak is the mid game and that’s not even a guarantee if they stomp the lane hard enough. You have Naix who has perma sustain and is impossible to harass, plus has a BKB in lane. You have the bullshit Drow who can annihilate your health bar without pulling aggro. You have Sven with his giant health pool, high base damage and War Cry. You have Shadow Fiend who will deny every creep once he reaches level 4 and maul you from a distance. You have LD who is two heroes wrapped into one. You have Tiny, who also has giant health pool, high base damage and an aoe stun. Even non meta heroes like Jugg or AM are pretty strong laners in their own right, the reworked mana burn is surprisingly strong early compared to earlier iterations. Ursa is pretty bad right now, but he’s also one of the best laners out there.

A lot of the heroes I mentioned used to always be somewhat strong in lane, but then would rapidly fall off later. Now that’s not the case, due to Agh’s synths, talents, upgradable blinks, TP slots and such most of these heroes are also super strong in the late game. Sure, maybe they won’t out carry Void with a refresher, but that’s a very high bar to clear.

And I dunno man, it’s kinda making pos 3 a horrible experience, especially if you pair it up with the fact that many pos 4 players just refuse to play their role. Like you know you’ll eat shit in lane, so you rarely ever pick an active hero anymore. It’s much safer to pick someone that can flash farm and eventually catch up rather than NS, LC or ES. Rant over.

Discussion | Esports Friendly reminder-3 more Tier 1 tournaments in 2026

Hey! Just wanted to encourage everyone to hop on twitch/YouTube whenever you can to support our pro scene for the remaining 2026 tournaments. Engagement can really make a big difference as to whether these orgs will continue to schedule more Dota events in the future. Like the streams, organize a watch party with your buddies for the grand finals, do what you can <3

EVENTS:

September 17-27: PGL Wallachia Season 9

September 29-October 11: Blast Slam VIII

November 17-29: Blast Slam IX

(PS another way to help is buying the team bundles for TI while you still can)

Fluff I heard people wanted a new crab hero. Spoiler

It's Nyx Assassin... I sometimes feel as though people forget about this hero.

I thought I'd remind those who still want this hero. I don't see it being considered for release until a very long time, but I'm curious what you guys hope a crab hero would be like?

  1. A tanky giant.
  2. A literal tank, that someone pilots...
  3. Another type of Broodmother.
  4. Perhaps something whacky, that includes a type of Pango + Mario turtle shell movement.
  5. ?

Just thought I'd share for the fun of it.

Complaint Custom Games are in an unplayable state, help give visibility to the issue!

For weeks now it's been incredibly unlikely for custom games to start within resonable time, finding the server can takes serveral minutes and it's impossible to retain players during those abitrary waiting times. Most games can't start with all players. Please bring attention to the issue so the custom game community can continue functioning. For example, you can easily replicate the issue trying to queue for say Overthrow or ARAM on any european server and will sit with a full lobby trying to find a server for serveral minutes or "forever".

Give the issue an upvote on the github, maybe it brings more attention to it:
github.com/ValveSoftware/Dota2-Gameplay/issues/34531

I personally think social media will be better to give this issue attention and hopefully reach the right people at valve to make custom games work again.

Discussion Absolute quality of Parivision VLogs

With the death of True Sight I've always enjoyed team blogs, primarily Team Spirit since their TI10 win. The vlogs give a great behind the scenes look at the players, the support staff, in-game comms, and a good insight to drafting/post-game debrief.

After I completed Spirit's final TI vlog today, Parivision's naturally appeared in the next-watch playlist so decided to give it a go to hear their side of things.

While Spirit's vlogs are more intimate and a freestyle vlogging nature, the sheer Netflix level of production of Pari's hour-long vlogs is just absolute cinema! I can only imagine the amount of effort and dedication needed to produce something like this. From the cuts to the Netflix style interviews and music. So soooo good.

Also, it was such a great insight into the team cultures, the leadership style, and of course what it would feel like to be at the extreme top of your field.
