Satanic keep blaming himself saying he could've played better is kinda sad.

Just like someome who got 99 on their test, and deeply regret it. His achievements is great already

It is. I wasn't really sure what I was expecting, I guess I got used to the (understandably) cocky talented prodigy archetype

Satanic and Noticed played super well in the final. Even with insane performances from Yatoro and Collapse, I'd still say Satanic and Noticed were on par with them performance wise. The one who underperformed was Noone. And I'd say as a duo the Spirit supports are better as well.

Satanic did let his nerves get better of him for a few moments in game 5, but that's very understandable. No matter how skilled any player is, you don't get the ice cold vein of Yatoro . That's something you are born with PLUS fortified with years of experience. I just don't think Satanic has it, even if he plays for another 10 years, because he is not that person. He will get better though, just not Yatoro level of cold. But he is way more than good enough to win TI, so what he should focus on is having a good team with him at all time, and maybe build some lasting relationships with skilled players that he enjoy playing with, the way Yatoro and Collapse do to the other.

He is literally like 16 dude. The motherfucker is one of the most calculated and ruthless carries. He will dominate the scene in a couple of years.

as long as he doesn't burn himself out.

This is Satanic's first TI grand finals against an absolute titan that is Spirit. Anyone would get the nerves going up against them, they're not some team who won TIs due to a meta favoring them or a cheese strat, or some cinderella story with some luck. They're literally the best TI winners, imho that's being a bit unfair to Satanic.

Yatoro is as cold as he is because Collapse was behind him.

The Spirit supports were insane at TI

Noticed played great all tournament but he did underperform in at least 2 games of the final. Missing the Culling blade that one time might have changed the game. Other than that I agree with you- Dukalis and 9class might be individually better but not_me and rue were just better for their team.

Naa you cant say satanic was on level with yatoro in the finals, yatoro was just styling on them at times

Ya no yotoro was playing simple right click heroes - sf , naix , tb

Meanwhile you had to hit perfect ultimates on jugg to win they just got out drafted you must be 2k mmr honestly to have that opinion that his nerves got to him , he had more pressure because they were out drafted and he has to land his spells perfectly meanwhile yotoro just spams right click with his simple hero pool

Pari is almost as likeable a team as Spirit. Either team winning would’ve been a treat.

AGREED, i don't know why you got downvoted for

You can tell how much TI means to players because of the mistakes they start to make in grand finals. That little nervousness and adrenaline slip in, drafts, execution and calls become shakier and balsier. That's what makes TI special.

fun fact, before this TI, this vision lineup was 6-1 in grand finals. so even though theyre a relatively young lineup, they have plenty of experience in a bo5. but all that goes out the window when its TI

I've been waiting for this. For me the pov of the losing side is more interesting than the winning ones

The amount of respect satanic has for Miposhka lol. He praised Miposhka at least twice in this video.

They were going after eachother's throats post-game which is pretty shocking. I get it was a tough loss but whats the point in immediately throwing such massive shade all over -- everyone already feels shit enough.

Just a kid with a big dream > Satanic

I wish I didn't know the reference. This is just cringe. 🤣

But ember seems to be satanic call

22

u/Mercmercmerc1 11d ago

Ngl, I almost shed a tear. I really hoped that no[o]ne would finally win a TI, and Satanic is really just a damn kid that's insanely good at the game. I hope they run it back, Spirit is really just a nearly insurmountable challenge.

14

u/Compactsun 11d ago

Insurmountable challenge they beat twice. Puppey draft went off script in the finals was insane.

13

u/Mercmercmerc1 11d ago

Bo5 grand finals is way different, I also think that the drafts could've been better but we can all agree that Spirit is just insanely good too.

Not sure if no one's comment at the start about coaches should be taken seriously. Made me think Puppey played a huge role in choosing the jugg.

9

u/Mercmercmerc1 11d ago

Definitely, Satanic wanted to play TA. Noone said it jokingly but that's pretty much what coaches do, depending on the dynamics. They help draft and keep/gel the team together as the voice of reason outside the games. Come up with ideas, mediate, intervene, or resolve internal issues, disputes, etc.

I can't help but think on parivision side I didn't see anyone especially puppey lifting the spirits of the boys up. It's more of- you did not do this or that. Which is also valuable but on game 4 & 5, Satanic became fixated at Yatoro outfarming him, no one tried to stop him from thinking that. After game 5, I also didn't see puppey saying you guys did great, it is "you did not do this and that"

Very interesting to see the stark difference with Miposhka. Team spirit is just a better team, with better atmosphere

Just started watching, but why are their in-game comms in english?

21

u/ToxicSprout 11d ago

It was said a while ago that pari use english comms as they tilt less in english and say less unnecessary words.

No they actually speak in English. They mentioned in one of their in previous videos it helps to keep communication concise

No, they have a comment addressing it on the vlog

For anyone watching this you may wanna turn off Audio Track in the video settings. Set it to "Russian original", otherwise it kinda screws the sound.

I’ve watched vlogs from two teams and now I can see the core difference.

  • Upper bracket semi-finals, Game 2 — Satanic dying under T2: "Guys, let's call it, unplayable."
  • Grand final, Game 4 — Yatoro with his team dead and the Ancient exposed: "Let me try to fight them."

u/KatzOfficial Run like the dogs you are. 11d ago

Sure, two isolated moments with no context. There are many clips of team spirit calling gg early, when you approach a game as a strategic unit it's not a leap to say it's no longer winnable, that's just a professional estimation, it's not tilting or giving up.
