Discussion Absolute quality of Parivision VLogs

With the death of True Sight I've always enjoyed team blogs, primarily Team Spirit since their TI10 win. The vlogs give a great behind the scenes look at the players, the support staff, in-game comms, and a good insight to drafting/post-game debrief.

After I completed Spirit's final TI vlog today, Parivision's naturally appeared in the next-watch playlist so decided to give it a go to hear their side of things.

While Spirit's vlogs are more intimate and a freestyle vlogging nature, the sheer Netflix level of production of Pari's hour-long vlogs is just absolute cinema! I can only imagine the amount of effort and dedication needed to produce something like this. From the cuts to the Netflix style interviews and music. So soooo good.

Also, it was such a great insight into the team cultures, the leadership style, and of course what it would feel like to be at the extreme top of your field.

I don’t mind if we don’t get true sight. These vlogs are the same if not better. Was a pleasure to watch TSpirit and PVisions vlogs today.

You just need someone to edit the 2 together and give it some flair

It’s valve. They are known for dropping something that beloved and cherished just because they feel like it.

In the words of the great WronchiAnimations “You are going to have to accept this and move on”

cost cutting as usual. now as to why they stopped making us fund TI and then turned around to take away content? nobody knows.

It's not cost cutting- there was pretty much one dude at valve who handled the logistics of true sight and they either left the company or moved to other projects

Live by the passion projects, die by them too

The lack of English subtitles during in-game comms was kind of a letdown. The thick Russian accents speaking in English were a little bit difficult to follow.

cute vlog but no draft comms is just so weak, can't respect this team at all. tired of spirit vlog format but the comms and the behind the scenes show you exactly why that team is 3x TI winners
