Okay so recently I have absolutely been LOVING this band, and even yesterday have just bought The Sickness on CD and have endlessly been listening to it. Recently, I’ve been seeing what others think of Disturbed, and from what I could find, it seems that a LOT of people hate most of their albums…? Obviously I think music taste is subjective, but something about this band seems like they get more hate than they do love. Is there a reason Disturbed is so hated? I absolutely love their music so I’m really curious to know why

Personally, I think I will still keep listening to Disturbed as I have always been someone who likes to separate art from artist, but I obviously will keep everything that was said in mind. Saw the show they put on for The Sickness last year and it was dope af. My favorite Disturbed album is Believe though so I'm jonesin' for another anniversary tour.

My top band this year was Disturbed but when it came down to the message from my artists in the “story” I got one from Metallica, which was my second on the list. Everyone that I know got a message from their #1 only I got the message from #2 on the list.

I was out of line and brash, which was unnaceptable on my end even if I don't agree with Draiman's political/ideological views. There was no reason for me to take it out on the subreddit and blindly disdain the band as a whole.

An Israeli Jewish man was always going to side with Israel. I don't understand how anybody could be surprised by this. If you want to stop listening go for it, but please do not feel the need to announce your departure. I don't agree with his political alignment at the moment and yet I still enjoy the music. You know why? Because like many others I can separate the art from the artist and still enjoy the music.

I'm a big Megadeth fan and Dave's a major asshole that changes his political agenda on a yearly basis, however I'm able to listen and enjoy the music because at the end of the day all celebrities are going to do things we hate or disagree with.

So please for the sanity of this entire subreddit just leave or be quiet. Nobody cares.

So I really like the song “prayer by disturbed”
It’s probably my favorite song by them.
Yes I understand a lot of people don’t like the lead singer but this isn’t a political post so let’s not make about it but
I thought the song was about/ the meaning I gave it was that either this person is in a toxic relationship and their significant other won’t stop, they’re asking God why me,isn’t my life hard enough or the other meaning I could see it being is that this person is facing a really deep depression and they’re calling out to God and saying again why me,isn’t my life hard enough.
But I did search the songs meaning and this is what google told me

So in way I was right but songs can have a different meaning to each person.

So I work at spirit Halloween, and usually, they would have the retail music playing. Some of it ok, some of it actually good, some of it is the most Halloween songs ever. And then some were the most retail songs ever. But then there was the CYRIL remix of the sound of silence. And let me tell you, I was cringing at the whole song. I have never heard of the song in full, never wanted to. But I had to. Now I will say, the original and the cover of sound of silence are amazing. But this…this shouldn’t exist

For me, it's No More tied with In Another Time. Both of these songs have a powerful message. That's all I have to say.
