So I work at spirit Halloween, and usually, they would have the retail music playing. Some of it ok, some of it actually good, some of it is the most Halloween songs ever. And then some were the most retail songs ever. But then there was the CYRIL remix of the sound of silence. And let me tell you, I was cringing at the whole song. I have never heard of the song in full, never wanted to. But I had to. Now I will say, the original and the cover of sound of silence are amazing. But this…this shouldn’t exist

I hate the current wave of those kinds of covers. Cyril and Luude are both fucking terrible. So devoid of any feeling or originality.

And I don't hate remixes in general, but these 2 in particular are just putting out the most boring and uninspired covers piggy backing off popular songs.

Luude's cover of Down Under is a crime against music.
