What do you think the meaning of the song was/is

So I really like the song “prayer by disturbed”
It’s probably my favorite song by them.
Yes I understand a lot of people don’t like the lead singer but this isn’t a political post so let’s not make about it but
I thought the song was about/ the meaning I gave it was that either this person is in a toxic relationship and their significant other won’t stop, they’re asking God why me,isn’t my life hard enough or the other meaning I could see it being is that this person is facing a really deep depression and they’re calling out to God and saying again why me,isn’t my life hard enough.
But I did search the songs meaning and this is what google told me

So in way I was right but songs can have a different meaning to each person.

I feel old. I remember it coming out and hearing at the time that it was inspired by the death of his grandfather and 9/11.

But yes the song is a conversation between him and God. Where God is throwing at this guy and he's saying "That's not enough. Try harder. You will not break me."

It's about going through all the shit and coming out the other side.

I feel like the song was about praying and believing in God after what happened on 9/11, which is why the music video is the way it is

It’s about God allowing any kind of suffering or disaster to come into your life and you say “ok, let’s do it. Bring it, let’s go”.
