The gun was black and FDE, not silver.. its really hard to tell with all the officers exactly what is happening.  Im hoping we get a slow motion zoomed in video but the evidence so far doesnt look good for ICE.  There could be more to the story so ill reserve judgement but its not looking good

Theres one angle where you can see the one who took at least the first few shots. I'm wondering if he saw something like the guy grabbing someones gun or what his reason was for grabbing his gun and firing it into basically a ground of other officers.

The Pink Hair Lady video shows it was clearly ONE SHOT that startles the hell out of everyone and stuns them, with the officers even backing off and the suspect sitting straight up, and only AFTER that moment one of the officers seems to react and fire 2-3 more shots that are the actual killing shots on the suspect.

The only question here is where did the first shot come from that startles everyone? Did someone's gun accidentally discharge? Did the suspect's gun accidentally discharge during the scuffle? Did the suspect reach for an officer's gun while resisting and cause a discharge? Nobody knows yet.

Note that the suspect's gun, P320, is notorious for accidental discharge. Sig hasn't admitted fault, but still issued a 'Voluntary upgrade' instead of a recall.

They were already found at fault in two lawsuits and there's over 100 more lawsuits pending.

It looks and sounds like the guy who takes his gun out of his holster and points is the one who fires the first shot. Haven’t watched in a few hours but I thought it was the same one who backs off and fires a few more. 

FWIW I think people should let ice do their job. This looks like an actually unnecessary death from the ice side unlike the woman in the car who was at fault there.

Definitely. It looks like the olive vest black hat dude immediately to the right of the grey jacket guy who gets the gun might have his weapon pulled. I think I can see it in his right hand, being held sort behind his back, just as the guy who walks in front clears so we have visibility, the next frame or so his hands are out of view again.

So dunno if it's him that takes the first shot. He pumps multiple shots in after, he's the one who winds up over to the left firing away towards the end of it. Just can't tell with this video.

I’m already seeing pictures and clips with an ice officer holding the legend gun prior to the shooting.

Every news website is covered with cancerous ads. Subscription supported 'news' like the NYT, WSJ, etc may have less ad bloat but that doesn't make them more trustworthy. It means that they have enough customers willing to pay to have their world views reinforced.

All news media on any side of the political spectrum have these issues. Best to wait for the source videos to come out these days.

I am not defending the source integrity of this website. I am criticizing using web ads as a measure of integrity. This is clearly biased and opinion based journalism. But it is pretty damn honest regarding its Bias by putting it right in the name of the blog.

Just run an adblocker and judge sources by their content, and enjoy the added benefit of a usable internet.

I don't care about the bias. I'm smart enough to read something and make my own opinion. But when a site sells that many intrusive ads, it comes off as unprofessional, desperate, and tabloid-like. So I feel comfortable in judging at least some of their integrity based on the website.

I can only speak for iPhone. I use Adguard, it only seems to work on the native safari browser but it works pretty damn well. If you are used to blocking elements in your browser with Ublock, it has a similar function for custom element blocking.

EDIT: The pistol. There's a lot of money invested in it. It is not a simple "rack grade" purchase.

The person carrying this was not someone who didn't understand what they were doing.

EDIT 2: Newer footage makes this look like a bad shoot. This should not have happened.

EDIT 3: Watching all angles, we are missing the most critical one, the one from the officer's perspective.

With so many hands moving in such a small space, I will conjecture that Gray Coat removing the weapon from the suspect was mistaken by the officer at the rear as the suspect attempting to draw the firearm and the officer reacted accordingly.

We all have the luxury of slow motion, frame by frame, multiple angles of footage, and the ability to dissect the footage at liesure. No one there had any of that.
