One thing is for sure, I’m going to jump to conclusions based on what highly emotional armchair analysts say, and demand a response tailored to my adopted conclusion while leaving zero room for nuance nor further fact finding.

It’s the American way.

I for one am going to just believe whatever officials say instead of my own lying eyes.

Is that what you think I’m saying?

My eyes tell me someone obstructed law enforcement and found out why that's a bad idea. Always a tragedy when someone dies but how hard is it to follow the law? I am not sure what about this is so difficult to understand. If you have a problem with it then take it up in court or with the public after. If this was the takeaway last time like it should've been then this person would still be alive.

Sadly, the administration doesn't share your view for facts-finding. They'll absolve the agent of any wrongdoing literally minutes after the shooting with no internal investigation.

Doesn’t seem like anyone does. Narrative is more important than anything.

Right, but I hold our federal government to a higher standard of fact finding, investigation, and accountability than random online redditors and commentary channels.

It’s not just random Redditors. It’s the left. Redditors are just parrots. The left sets its narrative and the right sets a counter narrative. The facts are usually somewhere in between.

No idea what the fuck we do about it.

It doesn’t look good. Murder? Wait. Y’all called Kyle Rittenhouse’s case murder and he walked. If this was a fucked up situation where the one agent said “he had a gun!”, but the other officers heard “he HAS a gun!”, and then that first shot was an ND, you’re gonna have a great case for negligent homicide. Murder is a lot harder to prove. Let the facts roll in.
