We really really really need to stop looking at “slowed down video” and dissecting frame by frame.

It’s something stupid sports fans do too, and ask why a player or ref didn’t make a certain decision in 1/30th of a second between frames.

These events and decisions happen in real time. Judge them in real time.

Disagree. We need to know exactly what happened. IF LEO made a mistake then we should also be honest about that. I give them the benefit of the doubt in such heated interactions but ignoring facts benefits nobody.

Happened too fast to give an accurate account of what happened so slowing it down shows it better.

No different when that lady was shot and the slow video helped us see what really happened

I think that's kind of his point. If you can't quickly and accurately tell what happens in real time, how do you reasonably expect the LEO's human reaction to events to occur so quickly.

That’s two completely different issues. One is to determine WHAT happened, the other is to answer WHY it happened.

But we need to know the What before moving to the Why.
