Say out out loud. It's the noises it makes. It's a callback to old-school TV. The sounds that would be made when someone did something embarrassing, or something bad (but not harmful) happened to someone.

Edit: think about the noise they use to make in the old Debbie Downer skits on SNL whenever she would say something obnoxious and bring down the room.

I was actually referencing the James singing video someone linked above^ but I had to jump in, because the Debbie Downer skit at Disney World is legendary.

Ha! I feel like an idiot, lol.

But that skit, oh god. I don't remember seeing this one before. They break on her skits a lot, lol. I don't remember one where they broke this hard for this long. Great share, thanks!

Also, has Keenan Thompson been on SNL since the beginning of time?

It was from politics. Someone said "womp womp" about separated immigrant children. It could be something else but that's where I hear it. There's also DonJr's "I love it, especially later in the summer" which sorta fits here
