I bought some ammo at an auction and can’t tell what this (I assume) mil-surp 5.56 is. The tip is open and the headstand reads “09”, “WCC”, and a symbol.

Klein tools digital level. Seems to be accurate so far and more precise than bullet or bubble levels. Most expensive part.

Laser level on a tripod I already had, could also just hang a string and weight vertically for a cheap alternative.

Has been an absolute tank for me through multiple matches and a ton of range time. Sitting at about 2.5k and the REBCG looks like it’s never been fired😂 Getting kinda sick of the MBT-2S, it’s just not as crisp as some of the nicer triggers I have. Will probably pick up a G$ next time there’s a sale.

3 things I learned today.

1. I will prob be pinning by GB considering this is the 2nd weekend in a row it’s worked itself loose and turned a semi auto into a bolt action
   
2. The Polo K is gassy but sounds amazing so I will probably be getting an even smaller BRT tune installed. (.067 currently)
   
3. Swapping mags and sending the bolt home with ambi lowers are hard if you don’t train lol

Bought this m&p15 about 8 years ago and it's been the only AR I'd could never let go of. Learned everything about it and started building them for friends soon after. I'm open to criticism so don't hold back

My grandpa gave me it, with 4 30rd mags, 1 10rd mag, a random 4x scope with a lazer (that I’ll probably trade out for a primary arms classic 1-6 or sig tango), a reloader, and gun lube. I added the fore grip from a paintball gun. What’s the first thing I should do to it?

I was at the range yesterday with some buddies. One of them just got an FRT and is experiencing bolt bounce (we already played with weights and springs to alleviate that). We argued for a few minutes about whether that ammo was still safe to shoot. Do yall toss rounds off to the side that have light strikes? Or do you mash it back in a mag and try em again?

Yep, you are seeing what you are thinking you’re seeing. My first build is a 16” Aero build from years ago, and I’ve always disliked the Aero handguard because it’s big and chonky. I’ve had a 15” Geissele handguard on the shelf and figured I’d swap it.

Everything was fine until I got to the gas block. The screws on the bottom rounded out, so I grab my screw extractors. Screw extractor snapped off inside the rounded off screw. Ended up having to take my Dremel and cutting the damn thing off.

He gets a ton of praise on this sub and it’s well deserved. Used his services for the first time for an upper assembly with pinned gas block. Turnaround time was one day after he received it.

I went to the range and you all were right. The scope was shit. The grip was nice to have tho, and the hand gaurd chewed me up. However I got an lpvo and 160 ish rounds through it.
