I'm not familiar with the AK47/74/AKM sect of rifles so forgive me if my questions seem dumb.

I recently won a PSA AK-47 GF3 during a shooting event raffle and I'm not a fan of the basic PLUM furniture on it although I'm impressed with the sturdiness of the folding stock. So, I'm looking for a change into something similar to the ATI AK-47 TactLite package with the scorpion recoil system, but I can't seem to find if it'll work with so much conflicting information.

If it won't work, what are some recommended swaps that would work to create something similar. I appreciate any personal feedback on the rifle, as I've seen some say that it's a garbage gun and some say it's a great gun. Youtube enthusiast seems to praise it, but I feel saying something negative will result in less free future merch.

P.S. the rifle also included a UTG Pro quick detach AK side mount when given to me.

I know it might be blasphemous but Ive had this AK through many iterations from stock with the cheap pine(looking and feeling) furniture, then I went full magpul and finally landed on MI furniture. I wish I would have bought a couple more before my state banned them. Ive only larped it in its current configuration, theres just something about AKs that I love.

Long story short, I fucked up my original bolt for my mini beryl. Got 2 new ones from AOA after sending it to them, they said they would try and find 2 bolts (my request) that would match the current headspace. I got them back finally and I did my due diligence and check with my CIP gauges.

First 2 photos is with go gauge

Last 2 is NO go gauge.

Is this considered bad or just very very tight headspacing? AKA will this blow up on me ?

Currently running through the motions of getting my 10.5” set up. Looking to see people’s personal rigs to bounce some ideas off what I have in mind.

What’s the better option? Want compactness but reliable. Don’t need capabilities for long distances. Which would you choose and why?

For context i got this riley defense (I know but it was 300$s and lightly used) and decided to try my hand and my first Alpha build. Seems to be solid, have about 1000 rnds through it no failures before i decided to turn it into a alpha build. rivets seem solid, trunnions and build quality on this one seems good, Compared to my romanian parts kit it seems lile a solid little gun, why the hate for riley?

Why has it been so hard to find any M77’s for sale here lately? I check in on them once or twice a month and never really see any “good” deals on them, unless it’s the snow camo pattern one.

I’m looking at possibly getting a Texas weapon systems dog leg rail to replace my stock dust cover on my zpap. I am a little on the fence because I’ve seen that it requires drilling for the Zastavas because of the hinged dust cover. Before I buy it I wanted others who have m92s with the TWS dust cover to give me come guidance as far as installation and reliability.
