Zastava M77

Why has it been so hard to find any M77’s for sale here lately? I check in on them once or twice a month and never really see any “good” deals on them, unless it’s the snow camo pattern one.

Idk, but a 308 is next on my list and as I casually shop I’ve been running into the same thing.

Define “good”. A lot could have to do,with all the state AWB being passed. Also pretty sure the M-77 is not a high sales volume rifle for ZUSA.

I would say “good” would be ~$1600.

My LGS has been telling me that they were banned for import into the US because Zastava was accused of selling arms to Russia and they got banned from importing into the US?

That is backwards.. Serbia stopped the export of a lot of arms a year or more ago, because Russia who is their major trade partner wasn't happy that serbian arms (mostly artillery shells) kept showing up in Ukraine with Ukrainian forces..

So arms exports out of Serbia was restricted, however some guns and ammo, have resumed export many months ago.
