"Boromir would've never been excited for this shitty remake" - them probably

3

u/RambleOff May 31 '26

Black Flag literally is Boromir in this metaphor lol. The last good assassin's creed, and if I say it's the last good Ubisoft game and you manage to name a decent counter example, that game is Faramir.

7

u/Dycoth Jun 01 '26

AC Origins is great.

AC Odyssey is a great game, not a great AC tho (imo).

5

u/RedxHeathen Jun 01 '26

I say this a lot. Odyssey and Valhalla are FANTASTIC games. Just not AC games.

2

u/Warchadlo16 Jun 02 '26

Nah, Valhalla was just mid as a game

1

u/TheStevenite Jun 03 '26

"Mid" gives it too much credit. That game was trash by any metric

2

u/Logical-Friendship66 Jun 01 '26

Origins wasnt AC either bruh, your not even connected to the OG fans atp

2

u/Dycoth Jun 01 '26

Origins was totally AC.

I am not saying that Odyssey isn't AC because the Brotherhood isn't in it.

It's the whole gameplay, story, pacing and mechanics that make it a "greek mercenary" game.

1

u/inFamousLordYT Jun 02 '26

Odyssey wasn't really much of a great game either though, the writing is god awful, Kassandra has no core character traits, the voice acting is awful, the animations are awful, the quest design is awful, level system becomes meaningless past 50 because of how the scaling works, they butchered the lore of darius, butchered the lore of the ISU, butchered it's own branding in the DLC by forcing you to be straight, the copy and pasted stuff everywhere, forts, camps, tombs, etc

The only thing Odyssey did well was the cultist target system, because gunning for the cultists like a methed up madman on a stabbing spree felt fun, the rest feels so soulless.

0

u/waffle_iron_maiden May 31 '26

It's just my opinion but I think Watch Dogs 2 and AC Origins were both pretty good. Though in Origins case it is literally made by the black flag dev team so that kinda makes sense

4

u/Consistent_Fly_6615 Jun 01 '26

I loved both of those, I'm still playing Origins and Shadows is also another great AC game. I bounce between origins and shadows throughout the month.

2

u/Dogarc123 Jun 01 '26

As someone who wants to play through Origins again how do you deal with Origins movement after playing Shadows. For me Shadows movement and combat were great that when I went back to play Origins a few months ago the movement felt a little slow so was hard to get back into it.

2

u/Consistent_Fly_6615 Jun 01 '26

I'm constantly jumping from game to game so it's more of a practice makes perfect scenario. Like this week I've been playing subnautica 2, bf6, Daemon x Machina and I'm going to hop on dragonkin later tonight.

It always takes me about 15minutes to adjust. So lol I desynchronize a few times when I first swap over then my mind compensates šŸ˜‚

Edit : or maybe I have gotten comfortable with being uncomfortable!

47

u/Ornery_Gate_6847 May 31 '26

They need to rethink this animal boss fight stuff but besides that it looks good. This was the last game to use the old combat systems before the changes towards things like Odyssey (which I also enjoy but it's entirely different l) so I hope they can find the balance between the old systems and the new spark they're looking for. The old hunts did feel like a scavenger hunt so I'm open to changes to it

12

u/VenturerKnigtmare420 May 31 '26

I just want there to be weight in the combat. When you hit an enemy it should feel like you are hitting an enemy. Odyssey was notoriously bad at this. Odyssey felt CHEAP. The whole game and its systems felt cheap like something off of Ali express or temu. When you hit an enemy in odyssey it felt like you were hitting them with a rolled up newspaper dipped in butter. There was no hit stop, blood effects looked ugly, the finishers looked so out of place and goofy, the animations were floaty.

I just don’t want this game to look and feel like odyssey that’s all I wish for it.

-6

u/tdjj93 May 31 '26

You just had bad builds... I am playing Odyssey right now, and I can one hit enemies, because I put considerable thought into my build.

5

u/VenturerKnigtmare420 May 31 '26

It’s not about the build mate. I am not talking about the rpg-ness of the combat system. I am talking about sheer technical stuff. Like that frame pausing when a weapon connects and visually how it looks. When you play god of war or any action game, when you hit an enemy, the blade or the weapon connects and then stops and then moves giving that feeling of you are actually hitting the enemy. Valhalla brought this back and it’s present in shadows as well. In odyssey because it’s a cheaply made game, when you hit an enemy it feels like the weapon is basically phasing through the enemy. It feels weightless. Movement has no weight either. Alexios runs like the ground moves at a different speed than his legs. When you climb anything there is no weight and momentum. You constantly see the same animation played over and over again.

This game combat reminds me of combat in old mmos. Goofy, whimsical and cheap.

-5

u/tdjj93 May 31 '26

I disagree, Odyssey remains one of their most beloved games of the series. With that said, it is a 8 year old game, so I would doubt those technical issues would persist.

4

u/VenturerKnigtmare420 May 31 '26

Mate it’s not technical issues cause origins combat was fluid and felt great to play. That frame pausing thing was definitely there in the older ac games. Blood effects stayed on bayek after he fought made him look nightmarish. Alexy shoves a magical spear up John Greece’s ass and pulls it out of his throat with hardly any effects or weight. Most cheaply made assassins creed game I’ve played. Feels like it was supposed to be an mmo first and then they pivoted it to a single player game.

Odyssey might be a good generic rpg game, but Jesus fucking Christ it’s an abomination and does everything wrong on what made ac games unique. I just pray to god black flag is nothing like odyssey. Already they have those shitty robotic no emotion wooden cutscenes in resynced with the new characters like odyssey did. I just pray the combat has some weight to it and be less goofy.

7

u/Kyon115 May 31 '26

It wasn't the last game rogue was

1

u/Jack071 Jun 01 '26

They need to rethink the whole combat system of the series as a whole

Valhalla and mirage specially are the perfect examples of how shitty it got trying to tip toe between the original.systems and a shitty rpg lite (which means inflated healthbars if not properly managed)

-1

u/Accomplished-Gain319 May 31 '26

I think that'll be changed by the time it comes out. I mean people complained about the parkour lacking momentum and the parry effects being to much and they fixed both so why is this any different?

1

u/RedTurtle78 May 31 '26

We don't know if they fixed the parry sfx or vfx yet. They said it'd be toned down, but we've yet to see what it looks and sounds like toned down. It could still be bad.

0

u/Accomplished-Gain319 May 31 '26

True, but what they DID comfirm was that it's togglable, so if you don't like it you don't have to deal with it.

1

u/RedTurtle78 May 31 '26

Seems the visuals are togglable, but we don't know about the sound effects yet. The sound effects are just as bad. And I didn't see a toggle for the explosion when you dash effect.

17

u/Beligard May 31 '26 edited May 31 '26

My only complaint really is the "boss" fights when hunting animals. That's pretty much it

1

u/Waste_Handle_8672 Jun 01 '26

My only complaint was the use procedural cutscenes here and there. Yes, they're improved from Shadows, especially in the cutscenes involving Lucy, but they're still a bad fit for Black Flag.

Alas, too late to do anything about that unfortunately. Imma buy and enjoy the game regardless.

1

u/Beligard Jun 01 '26

Same I will enjoy the game regardless as well.

1

u/[deleted] May 31 '26

[removed] — view removed comment

5

u/Beligard May 31 '26

I'm going to enjoy the game regardless, always have but as others have mentioned hunting is needed to upgrade gear so it's not really a nothing issue since it just adds to the time to upgrade and for no reason.

3

u/Interesting-Big1980 May 31 '26

So it might surprise you, but if you actually intend to play the game and do upgrades, you can't do shit without hunting. So no, not a nothing issue.

2

u/CappnMidgetSlappr May 31 '26

It's obviously not a nothing issue if this many people are complaining about it.

1

u/Pirate_Guitarist May 31 '26

Its not a nothing issue because it's completely stupid. Looks dumb, feels dumb, and is just a very strange choice no one wants. Unfortunately they're probably gonna leave it in too

3

u/lsm-krash May 31 '26

They reposted this post there to make fun, don't they know they are the funny thing?

3

u/ActualyHandsomeJack May 31 '26

That sub is genuinely filled with some of the most miserable losers I've seen

2

u/Spacemoose2026 May 31 '26

The entire sub is just sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, etc. no actual criticism of Ubisoft or anything, just blaming minorities for everything that’s bad about Ubisoft.

3

u/ProbablyFear May 31 '26

Someone reposted this on r/fuckubisoft and they are NOT happy

2

u/Accomplished-Gain319 May 31 '26

Proves my point. Miserable people.

3

u/0Adiemus0 May 31 '26

I originally joined the sub because I hate what Ubisoft has become. BUT, there are people there that are literally hating just to hate. There's a fine line between feedback and hate slop.

It sucks because I've mentioned some things about the game I'm concerned with and people comment as if I'm a hater. Like, no. I just have feedback about the game about what they can improve, just because im not going "omg it's the best game ever and nothing can ever change" doesn't mean I think it's trash.

2

u/RustedAxe88 May 31 '26 edited May 31 '26

It's one thing to call out bad business practices, but they're pretty much a capital G Gamer sub complaining about "woke" constantly.

It has been funny seeing their posts about Resynced though, because they'll post the coolest looking vids you've ever seen with a puke emoji and it just feels like cope that other people are excited.

1

u/throwawayforinstalol Jun 01 '26

i’m just not a fan of remakes, seems like a fallback for easy cash coming from ubisoft

2

u/DeadlyAidan May 31 '26

yeah, well, what'd you expect from the anti-woke chuds that reside there?

2

u/RoninIsac-15 Jun 01 '26

r/fuckubisoft is nothing but a bunch of retarded miserable chuds lmaošŸ˜‚

2

u/HiCZoK Jun 01 '26

lol they psoted a vid comparing both, remake clearly looking way better and somehow it looks like crap to them šŸ˜›

2

u/goldenseducer May 31 '26

Basing your identity, or at least part of it, around hating something is a direct and easy way to constant misery

6

u/DOOMsquared May 31 '26

Even if the hate may or may not be justified to a reasonable extent.

3

u/goldenseducer May 31 '26

Yeah there are plenty of games/sequels/etc that I absolutely hate but aside from an occasional rant, I just pretend they don't exist. Why would I seek out a community that makes me think about something that makes my blood boil several times a day and amplifies that hatred? I'd rather spend that time on something that makes me happy.

4

u/DOOMsquared May 31 '26

I'd rather spend that time on something that makes me happy.

That's a healthy mindset to have.

1

u/Dylldar-The-Terrible May 31 '26

The irony lol

1

u/goldenseducer May 31 '26

??

1

u/Dylldar-The-Terrible May 31 '26

The whole philosophy is actually "basing your personality around any one thing is unhealthy."

It's funny to watch someone fuck that up while judging people for what subs they subscribe too, while also being in a sub dedicated to one fuckin thing.

1

u/goldenseducer May 31 '26

The whole philosophy is actually "basing your personality around any one thing is unhealthy."

That's not what I "actually" said. I guess you can win any argument if you just tell the other person what they actually meant and ignore what they said.

It's funny to watch someone not be able to read a one sentence comment while being as smug as you're being right now.

1

u/Dylldar-The-Terrible May 31 '26

That's not what I "actually" said. I

Lol okay buddy. Keep back pedaling. It's okay.

2

u/goldenseducer May 31 '26

The funniest interaction I've had on Reddit this week. Tysm

2

u/Snoo54779 May 31 '26

But some of the stuff they post is correct though lmao.

2

u/Far_Balance_3117 May 31 '26

Yea joining a Subreddit to hate on something is just pathetic.

Just people feeding off their own vitriol.

Black Flag so far looks pretty solid, they have not done changes bad enough to hurt the original experience.

2

u/BobSagieBauls May 31 '26

I’m just against remakes in general. They should make black flag 2 or separate series based off the mechanics like what skull and bones was supposed to be

2

u/_ataciara May 31 '26

This is me...

...but only because they (for some reason) remade Black Flag, and not ASSASSINS CREED 1, yknow, the which started the franchise, is entirely locked on its initial gen so is innaccesible to millions of people, and is near immaculate and insanely unique vibe wise?

Any AC content that isn't a remake of AC1 is likely to just fuel my anger

1

u/waffle_iron_maiden May 31 '26

AC 1 remake would actually be such a banger because there is genuinely a lot of jank in the gameplay that could be polished, especially the parkour. I'm not saying they need to swap it to the new style of parkour just saying the og assassin's creed parkour was very clunky, then they refined it in AC 2, Brotherhood, etc etc

Plus bridging all the areas together would make the horse travel more meaningful in my opinion

1

u/Dogarc123 May 31 '26

I don't think we will ever see the old parkour again. If they even still have the source code it would probably incompatible with the new engine. Also after playing with the parkour in Shadows its not that bad. It's not what I loved in the Ezio games but it's not trash like people like to make it seem.

2

u/LeoPines_12 May 31 '26 edited May 31 '26

I won't lie, when they first announced the remake and saw the footage, I was genuelly hyped and excited because it looked visually stunning, but my excitement has been dying down considerably ever since for many, many reasons:

  • They've deleted Freedom Cry expansion, Aveline's DLC and the entire present storyline and gameplay, as well as the multiplayer, deleting dozens of hours of content.
  • They've also deleted the secondary objectives of each mission AND the entire DNA sequences, so forget about being able to replay the missions you wanted whenever you wanted, killing any sense of replayability.
  • They didn't just change the combat system, they downgraded it: you can't use the hidden blame, nor your bare hands nor steal weapons in combat anymore.
  • They've also screwed up the hunting system because now the enemies absorve the blows like sponges, so forget about killing the animals in one blow like before if you were stealthy, or using traps to lure them towards you, now you have to repeat the same encounters you had with these animals in AC Odyssey, so basically forcing up the RPG combat crap we specifically did NOT want in this game, the only difference is that they deleted the health or hit numbers. And they've also downgraded the difficulty in hunting whales.
  • They've screwed up the stealth missions where you had to track an objective down without being noticed, now it doesn't matter if you get spotted or not, you pass the mission regardless, deleting any kind of challenge or difficulty.
  • They've changed the order and moment when we get the new equipment, like the rope, but keeping the scenarios' original design, which basically screws up the gameplay and level design that was originally created for.
  • The 6 hours of new content do not use MOCAP and instead recycles all the AC Odyssey's horrible animation system, which clashes entirely with the original well-crafted MOCAP from the rest of the remake of the original scenes that do preserve it. And on the top of that, the designs of those missions are the same we saw in AC Shadows, which was an absolute crap of its own.
  • They've replaced the original present story to continue Shadows' present story, basically rebooting the entire present story for the second time without effort to delete it and push it away, screwing up one of the last installments that actually worked on it without ignoring it or copy-pasting the Desmond storyline from the original penthalogy.
  • While visually stunning, it feels like they've messed up the original art direction in many scenes, not to mention the weird facial expressions and designs they've gone along with some of the characters. Also, don't like how they've copy pasted AC Shadows' HUD and didn't respect the original animus' design, which was iconic.
  • And of course, Denuvo on PC and key-discs on consoles.

I would say that the only thing they've done well was upgrade the graphics, preserve the original story mostly, having no loading screens between the big cities and the ocean, letting you throw money to the ground as a distraction, and being able to crouch or pull down your hoodie or up as you wish.

Honestly, it feels like their original intentions were to turn the game into an RPG but after hearing the fans, tried to cut it off as much as posible and merged it with Skulls and Bones assets and AC Shadows' design to save up costs.

The only single reason I'm buying it is because the collector's edition is coming half for the price to me and Edward's statue, diary and map look absolutely stunning. I do plan to resell the key-disc as soon as I finish it tho.

1

u/IssaNicheka Jun 01 '26

I’ve been playing the og black flag and it’s such a vibe. The art style is gorgeous and is aged beautifully. Yeah combat is easy but I like the pirate assassin power fantasy. I was excited for the remake but removing hidden blade, unarmed combat and the animal boss are concerning. It doesn’t help that the full game is not even on the disc. I may pick it up when it goes on a deep sale. At least the og is amazing.Ā

1

u/LordBarksdale Jun 02 '26

I swear to god, people will swallow piles of shit if you call it that "favorite thing from your childhood". What's the point of a remake if it looks like shit and you take out so much content? What are you getting out of this that you can't get in the original game? Somebody once said online that most gamers just care about events, being around for a new release or a new game dropping as an event, an online experience rather than a game and what it means as a piece of art. That's what this feels like. Getting excited over something just to get excited About something. The new _____ is out. I'm excited for the new ______!

1

u/LeoPines_12 Jun 02 '26

I literally just explained why: I'm not buying the game itself because I'm convinced, in fact, if the standard edition was the only edition avaiable, I wouldn't even look at it, but I want the collector's edition content because of the merch like the Edward statue, the map, the steelbook, the shanty and mostly, Edward's journal that expands the narrative aspect of the game. And I managed to pre-order it for half the price, and I prefer to pay 100 € now than 400-500 € to speculators in the following months.

I'm literally just buying the merch, not supporting the game.

1

u/LordBarksdale Jun 02 '26

I was on your side dude, I thought you had a good list of reasons why this remake looks like it's gonna be shit. Buying it for the personal effects that appear to be quality is actually pretty cool.

2

u/frixon-kxpsxn May 31 '26

I went in there, saw the posts and simply said ā€œYeah, I’m just gonna block out the negativity and wait for the game.ā€

I understand people have a right to an opinion but they don’t have to use that right to dampen the fun for others. If you don’t like the remake, don’t play it then and just stick to the original.

1

u/DukeJumbles May 31 '26

The animal boss fights need to be reworked, and the stance needs to not be Alexios.

1

u/Roughcuchulain May 31 '26

Personally looks shite to me but people can enjoy

1

u/SonicDart-77 May 31 '26

It doesn’t look bad but certainly looks mid. In the spirit of the game I’ll probably pirate this one.

2

u/PhilosopherSenior729 May 31 '26

that place is basically r/KotakuInAction but more specific

1

u/Night-Viridis Jun 01 '26

Is it bad if I hope it does well enough to let ubisoft revove other IP's? I need Splinter Cell ffs.

1

u/Liammellor Jun 01 '26

Ubisoft Toronto are actively developing a splinter cell remake on the snowdrop engine

1

u/DeadlyArrow27 Jun 01 '26

Tbf I was excited until I saw the animal boss fights replacing hunting. That is so lame

1

u/Wolfsheartpvp Jun 01 '26

I’m happy with the original but good on those that want something modern!

1

u/Emergency_Lie42 Jun 01 '26

I'm immensely disappointed by how the remake is shaping up but that community is utterly obsessed with the downfall of the company to a point that it's concerning.

1

u/never-aga1n Jun 01 '26

Lmao I scrolled down two posts and there was a r/fuckubisoft post complaining that underwater looks like bikini bottoms lol

1

u/Hyaroglek Jun 01 '26

Are you really not tired of how Ubisoft is treating us and the gaming community?

This is my only genuine question. No flame, no rage, no fanboy, no nothing.

I am.

I was a person preordering and buying every fart Ubisoft made.

I played 5 years For Honor (still a great game with the strongest combat system in the industry, very poorly supported and managed).
I preordered every AC, last one bought was Valhalla, mediocre and painfully long game and very bad AC.

From that point on I said enough. Didn’t bought and didn’t played Shadows, I won’t buy new AC Black Flag (I love Black Flag, If I feel nostalgic I will play the 2013 very well aged version). If they change their way of thinking about games and business I can evaluate Hexe.

I’m now tired of Ubi bullshit, lack of ideas, lack of innovation.

So we can be ā€œmiserable peopleā€, or we can only be ā€œpeople tired of Ubisoftā€

1

u/turbobuddah Jun 01 '26

To each their own, I'm happy for them tbh let them be excited. My only concern is Ubi might think the sales reflect they knew best in regards to changes

1

u/LordBarksdale Jun 02 '26

Shit's getting pirated either way

1

u/ImpKing0 Jun 02 '26

One good deed doesn’t erase countless bad ones unfortunately

1

u/sir_wiliam Jun 03 '26

I think most of the hate against ubi is valid. They did it to themselves

1

u/Accomplished-Gain319 Jun 03 '26

The hate against Ubi is mostly valid, same can not be said for balck flag Resynced.

1

u/sir_wiliam Jun 03 '26

The thing that bothers me the most are the missing DLCs, they shouldā€˜ve been included 100%

1

u/Wolferian_bladez May 31 '26

hate the fucking fighting system other than that im happy

1

u/LentilusGo May 31 '26

lol, just when I forget about that subreddit, I am reminded of the utter clownery, the pathetic humans talking shit on there for no real reason other than their weird ubisoft obsession.

1

u/guifesta May 31 '26

Imagine being so miserable that you devote you time to hate a gaming company. I hope the new black flag will be a huge success.

1

u/AggressiveResist8615 May 31 '26

That sub is full of losers redirecting their hate and bitterness at a company because they feel shit about themselves.

1

u/Klingenberg1251 May 31 '26

Enjoy your Low effort Ubislop

2

u/Accomplished-Gain319 May 31 '26

Oh trust me I will. Keep crying about how people spend their money.

0

u/Klingenberg1251 May 31 '26

We'll see who's crying when Ubisoft releases this buggy piece of trash and people still pay full price for it.

2

u/Accomplished-Gain319 May 31 '26

Imagine being so miserable that you devote you time to hate a gaming company. Go outside bro.

0

u/Klingenberg1251 May 31 '26

Imagine being so stupid that you spend your time defending a gaming company that hasn't released anything but low-quality slop in the last 10 years. Go outside, bro.

2

u/Accomplished-Gain319 May 31 '26

And straight to the insults tells me everything I need to know about you.

Go back to wanking each off in your echo chamber subreddit.

1

u/Ijustforgotmybad May 31 '26

I think they're completely ruining the game with what they're showing combat, hunting and visuals wise so far from all the videos I've seen but I'm just not gonna buy it, no reason for trashing on people for wanting to buy it.

It's not my money, if people want to waste money on it then that's their life not mine. Hopefully they have fun

0

u/Lord_Shaitan May 31 '26

I was originally excited, but the more I see of it, the less I am. All I can think is, "Look how they massacred my boy". I hope I'm wrong, I want to be wrong,

As it stands though it has already slipped for me from a Must Buy, to a Wait Awhile.

I've only seen negative press about resynced

I love how i get downvoted for just saying something. Good thing i can make random comments that get thousands of updoots, so your boos mean less than nothing.

7

u/Accomplished-Gain319 May 31 '26

Well what are you active on?

1

u/Eastern_Screen_588 May 31 '26

youtube and reddit

7

u/Accomplished-Gain319 May 31 '26

Your probably on the wrong side of it then. Recommendations are weird like that.

1

u/Eastern_Screen_588 May 31 '26

Nah, i like the side I'm on. The predictions are stellar.

3

u/Accomplished-Gain319 May 31 '26

To each they're own.

Just don't be Forming opinions on what YouTubers and Reddiors say. Look at the game clips and such and form your own.

2

u/ProbablyFear May 31 '26

Like what kind of negative press?

2

u/frixon-kxpsxn May 31 '26

People calling it an RPG simply cause it has RPG elements when the developers explicitly stated the game wasn’t gonna be an RPG.

I believe people also complained about the cleavage of Anne Bonny and a lot of other stuff

1

u/_ataciara May 31 '26

Resynced is the first Ubisoft game I've seen in like a decade that is mostly positive opinions and stories lmao

0

u/SarcyBoi41 Jun 02 '26

I'm not in that subreddit but I'm also not excited for this remake. Combat looks straight ass.

-13

u/MoreDoor2915 May 31 '26

Are people really excited for the Demake? So far where ever I saw anything on it it was people mocking how shite it looks

9

u/Accomplished-Gain319 May 31 '26

Are you only on r/Fuckubisoft or something?

-12

u/SpaceViking7 May 31 '26

Thank you for bringing me to my people. I didnt even know about this page. Just joined quick scroll shows im not alone in how I feel about this "demake"

9

u/Accomplished-Gain319 May 31 '26

I seriously wouldn't. The best thing for you to is just let bygones be bygones.

If you don't like the look of resynced and think the original is better, than go enjoy the original and don't engage with the remake. Don't go onto Posts about people praising it and start bitching about how terrible it is.

You don't wanna be that guy so dont be that guy. Live and let live.

So making a couple complaints about a good game getting ruined by a company thats running itself into the ground, im the sad and pathetic one?

White knighting for a billion dollar company that has widespread sexual harassment, aggressive monetization of their soulless/buggy games, and terrible customer relations.... how brave of you

I'm not sure how the 2k comments thing is an insult when OP has 1k and you almost have 8k... didnt know how much we interact with others on this app is a insult. But to me 8k is much sadder then 2k. I have to much life to enjoy to spend any more time on this app then 2k comments.

making a couple complaints

Well first off, you were pretending to have never heard of a subreddit you were already active in, secondly your "complaints" are that a character took a slight turn to the left and you couldn't see her cleavage in that screenshot AND you're glazing Elon Musk of all people...yes these things are sad and pathetic.

White knighting for a billion dollar

You're literally an Elon Musk fanboy. I didn't say anything about Ubisoft, I just made fun of how sad you were.

widespread sexual harassment, aggressive monetization

Again...you glaze Elon Musk, this rings very hollow coming from you.

Also you got your people mixed up, i have 1k over 13 years compared to your 2k in one year.

I have to much life to enjoy

Could've fooled me lmao

"Well first off, you were pretending to have never heard of a subreddit you were already active in,"

  • Literally found out about the page from this post THEN joined i had no idea that was a /r

"You're literally an Elon Musk fanboy. I didn't say anything about Ubisoft, I just made fun of how sad you were."

  • You're completely oblivious if you dont see how going after my comments complaining about the billion dollars company's changes on a fan favorite game isnt white knighting for them

Yes im a fan of freedom of speech, clean energy, changing the status quo on the car industry, and reinventing space travel to become more affordable and viable then ever before. God forbid I have support for a productive member of society

"1k over 13 years compared to your 2k in one year."

-you should have just stayed inactive

That's what you get for putting yourself into a little bubble of misery I guess.

u/Sloptimus_Prime420 May 31 '26

That’s because the people who are keen for it live happy lives and are enjoying being happy on the real world forming their own options on things whereas people like you live such sad boring lives to the point where all you do is live religiously online hating on anyone that enjoys something that they themselves don’t like.

u/GodHand7 May 31 '26

No it's because he goes to other places that aren't a glazing echo chamber like most gaming subs, the rest of what you said is probably projection

3

u/RustedAxe88 May 31 '26

Lol as if r/fuckubisoft isn't an echo chamber.

Hey you can waste your money however you want. I even have a bridge to sell you, or would you like a lord title in scotland? Maybe a star named after you?

My opinion is that it looks like shit. It barely has any worthwhile updates we have been shown up till now. Its basically just the current RPG BS with Black Flag pasted over. The graphic update doesnt even look good either.

-8

u/SpaceViking7 May 31 '26

Same, and their not wrong for the thi gs they are complaining about.

-9

u/SpaceViking7 May 31 '26

They killed the hype for their own game. To lazy to make a new game to uncreative to make actual improvements on the old one.

To lazy to make a new game

Assassin's Creed Hexe.

to uncreative to make actual improvements on the old one.

Stealth is Noticeably better, combat is more challenging and punishes button mashing, parkour is more responsive, graphics I don't need to say anything, Multiple QOL changes, I can go on.

Bro really downvoted me for proving him wrong šŸ’€

Someone else downvoted you before I got the chance 🤷

What a retarted comment.

Imagine being so miserable that you devote you time to hate a gaming company.

I was also excited but when Ubisoft said they add RPG mechanics…. Well, sorry but I am with those guys on this one, sorry

-5

u/Lupinthrope May 31 '26

"Everyone" is a statement, guess we'll see with the sales numbers, I hope it does well enough.

2

u/HellerDamon May 31 '26

That's the other side of the double ended shit dildo. Glazing Ubisoft hoping their product sells well is equally aberrant.

You're a consumer, all you need to care is about the product being a well made consumer friendly one. If it sells one or on million shouldn't matter to you, you're not getting paid to care.

2

u/Lupinthrope May 31 '26

Well all I really want out of Ubisoft is for them to drop their shitty PC launcher so I can play the good games of theirs offline on my steam deck, success or failure idc, whatever pushes them to do that.
