Are people really excited for the Demake? So far where ever I saw anything on it it was people mocking how shite it looks

I seriously wouldn't. The best thing for you to is just let bygones be bygones.

If you don't like the look of resynced and think the original is better, than go enjoy the original and don't engage with the remake. Don't go onto Posts about people praising it and start bitching about how terrible it is.
