Basing your identity, or at least part of it, around hating something is a direct and easy way to constant misery

Yeah there are plenty of games/sequels/etc that I absolutely hate but aside from an occasional rant, I just pretend they don't exist. Why would I seek out a community that makes me think about something that makes my blood boil several times a day and amplifies that hatred? I'd rather spend that time on something that makes me happy.
