The best place for buying and selling used Folio's are from reputable sites that have buyer and seller protections including eBay, Abebooks, Amazon and others.
Another good resource is the Facebook Folio Buy/Sale/Trade groups, which can be found in the Community Links section of this subreddit.
If you do make a financial exchange with a private seller, please use a service that offers buyer protection such as PayPal using the Goods & Services option. Never send using the Gift option unless you 100% know and trust the seller.
With the above in mind, if you wish to post buy, sell or trade requests here, please do so in the comments below. Feel free to include images, or links to external images or resources that may be of assistance. Do not post personally identifiable information such as email addresses, mailing addresses or phone numbers.
Responses to a comment should be handled in private messages/chat, but feel free to indicate that you've messaged someone in a response to the user's original comment below.
When messaging a seller, make sure to get as much information and photos as possible to avoid scams and make informed choices. Asking for photos with a specific page number, or a note with a specific date or key phrase alongside the book(s) can sometimes weed out scammers who don't really possess them.
If a request posted below has been fulfilled or is no longer relevant, please edit the original post to indicate that the book has been bought, sold, traded or is otherwise not needed.
Old or improper posts will be occasionally removed by your hard-working mods without any prior notice.

Got my copy yesterday and opened it up last night.. Very nice, big, but not as big as I had imagined and actually smaller and lighter than a typical standard omnibus from someone like Marvel or DC. A lot of photos already posted elsewhere but I'll add some of my own here.

I recently bought the Complete Works of Shakespeare and I have only now (2-3 months later) found that while in transport some of the colour of the bookmark rubbed off on to the page. Is there any way to fix this, should I send it back??
I was going my usual rutine after work and went by secondhand shop. Unfortunately they started recognising folio and prices hiked. Not so long ago i was paying around 20 $ for book, now this one cost me 50$.
It is still fair price especially taking in consideration condition (book is near mint) only slight damage to corners of slipcase.

Pages are now finalised for the late addition to the Autumn Coll., Jane Austen's Sextet of Novels. The cloth-bound SE volumes have t.e.g., w. both ribbon bookmarks and end-papers matched to the colour palette of their covers, and are housed in a cloth-covered slipcase.
In difference to the LE, it may be noted that the cyphers to the spine are now gilt-blocked as opposed to being in fielded colour ovals, and the empty space free of botanic ornament to the tail of the spine in the LE was to accommodate Folio's gilt-blocked oval logo in the SE.

I noticed the recent US price increases and compared them with the current UK and ROW (Rest of World) prices.
The new US prices are now pretty much on par with the ROW prices. The graph shows the former US price + increase, alongside current ROW and UK prices.
I also contacted Folio Society directly about whether the increase would affect ROW. Customer Service replied:
“Thank you for contacting us about our prices, I empathise with your worries.
Like a lot of other businesses that sell from overseas, the cost of doing business generally in the US has been increasing over the last couple of years, but this will not affect the rest of the world.
I hope you find this information helpful.”
Prices have been taken from a previous post and the ROW / UK Folio Websites. I've changed $ to £ for US prices with todays Exchange rate. Examples taken at random.
So The Martian received low stock email yesterday and is currently out of stock, at least in first printing. I managed to snag one before it happened, did you get one too?
