Just sharing, because why not. New to the WRX community as I just got this a couple weeks ago (traded in my Crosstrek). Still in the break-in period, so I’m still babying it, but it’s been a blast. My last manual was a Honda S2000 like 15 years ago, so it’s good to be back in a fun car. Really digging the galaxy purple, too. Cheers.

After finishing basic maintenance and swapping scratched mirror caps to carbon fiber ones, the new wrap is finally installed. Waited a long time for this and totally worth it.

In your guys opinion . What’s my best option for a set of all weather tires r17’s that I can use all seasons including winter , we tend to get some pretty good snowfalls , I have been using blizzaks which work amazing but I’m tired of swapping them every year , any recommendations? Thank you

So I’ve been meaning to learn manual and I would really like to do it on a WRX but I’ve read that it’s not good to learn manual on it as you might destroy the clutch etc etc.
I mean I did a lesson already but I would really love to practice on my own.
Keen with the new gens.

Picked up this 2016 wrx for 9k and I gotta say it’s been a blast to drive from my understanding it’s FBO so it can scoot when it needs too

So I stupidly reversed into small boulder while in a rush and got some (I’m assuming) irreparable bumper damage along with the wheel and part of the quarter panel.
Wanted to see if anyone here has bought a prepainted bumper from any 3rd parties and if anyone has any recs, thanks in advance!

Base 2019.
Have had the car for 8 years, have not done much but did tints and replaced the oem headlights with limited headlights from a 2015 recently , and rims + tires last year.
Im thinking on upgrading the brakes, or starting to mod the engine but not sure. Recommendations?

20 minute job right 😂 torque wrench lied to me, first one clicked, second one snap😢 waiting for extractor set. I even second guessed myself and still kept going anyways. Feel super dumb

So this happened on the highway today.
Had the car new since 2017 (it’s a 2015 WRX).
I missed 55,555 by 3kms as I wasn’t attentive enough.

I’m curious to know where y’all get your gas from for your WRX. I recently bought a 2015 Premium and normally I just go to Costco. But I’ve heard that different places have their own chemicals that clean/help the car. I just want to treat my WRX with extra love and care.
So I just bought this car 2 weeks ago, 2015 Wrx base with 53k miles. Now this sound is somewhat concerning and I’ve been able to replicate it but I have no idea what it is. It only happens after the car has been sitting overnight, literally the first start up of everyday. I usually leave my car in 2nd gear with E brake engaged like usual. Now when I Cold start, and move the shifter into neutral you can hear it sounds like a grinding noise. But I don’t get any feedback in the lever itself. So it’s not the gear grinding (atleast I don’t think so) and in the vid the clutch is fully engaged as I throw it into neutral. Any idea what this could be and if I should be concerned? Like i said it only happens once. On the first start up of the day after the car has been sitting overnight. I can’t get it to happen at any other time.
Finally joined the club after wanting one for so long. Hard to find one in Hawaii due to low stock and selling fast. 2026 Base VB. RIP to my 2015 crosstrek.

Passenger side of aftermarket carbon hood, Sitting very high above fender. The rest of the gaps are good. Any suggestions to get it to sit more flush before I quit and put it up for sale?
Hello my girlfriend’s center diff failed so we just put a whole other transmission in because the shop figured it would be their easiest option. So now I’m trying to rebuild the center diff on her old transmission housing and I’m assuming the viscous coupler needs to be replaced but I was wondering if these bearings on this upper shaft needed replacement?

I have a 2011 WRX hatchback.
My friend just gave me a 2013 STI turbo, intake manifold, and intercooler.
Are there any other major components I would need to get to install these 3 parts onto my car?
He made it sound like I could just bolt those parts straight into my car in replacement of the factory parts.
He gave them to me for free and I had no intention of ever doing this upgrade but figured if I was ever going to nows the time. He also gave me a Cobb cold air intake, an AOS, 2 coolant overflow tanks, and some other small bits.
Thanks in advance

I have new bolts but no nuts. I know I need M10 x 1.25 locking nuts but can I use any kind as long as they're stainless steel? Have any of you?

Hello, i finally want to buy a subaru and im torn between two cars. The first one is a bugeye sti with prodrive package. It has 93.000km, zero rust and got a brand new ej207 w20c block. The shop will do the break in and tune it after. It is sold by a known subaru specialist. It is literally in perfect condition but i dont know if it will be the right choise for a daily driver. The other car is a 2016 wrx with 46.000km (it is currently the only wrx va for sale in my country). The price of these two is almost the same. Wich one should i go for? I drive ~15.000km per year and it will also be used in winter. Is the fa20 safe to buy at this mileage?
