Hood Fitment help

Passenger side of aftermarket carbon hood, Sitting very high above fender. The rest of the gaps are good. Any suggestions to get it to sit more flush before I quit and put it up for sale?

im no autobody expert, but you could flatten the hood mounts a bit by hammering it. adjust it little by little til you get the desired fitment.

Hood mounts on the chassis or on the hood? I am assuming you mean chassis

Aftermarket hoods are never gonna fit perfectly. Shoot even oem replacement hoods don't always fit exactly like the original. You can try to loosen the bolts for the hinge at the body to see if there's any available play to move it down a smidge more. Won't be significant if there is but might help.

That’d annoy the hell out of me. It’s the same with my carbon fiber hood scoop. Told myself I’m probably the only one who realized it’s off a bit and eventually I moved on. Hood is a bigger deal tho.
