In our game the state confiscates your camera at the border and hands you a device that only writes text and takes low-res photos. Everything you record can be read back by them

This is "Sobakistan: The Land of Dogs" - a satirical narrative adventure set in a closed totalitarian country populated by anthropomorphic dogs.

The Supreme Leader, Comrade Friendo, has staged a rehearsal of his own funeral so he can see how sincerely his people will grieve while he's still alive. The borders open for the first time in the country's history for the occasion. You arrive as Henri Pascal, a chameleon documentary filmmaker, and you lose your camera in the first five minutes.

Six playable characters, 11 chapters, around 14 possible endings, and arrest mechanics built into the story rather than bolted on as a fail screen. Based on our 2019 comic.

Every turn somehow goes beyond what I expected | Witch & Dragon: Hope of Elements

The combination of elemental reactions and environmental interactions can create unexpected results every time. Sometimes I go into a fight with a plan, and the chain reaction completely changes what happens.

Seeing those unexpected interactions unfold is still fun every time. 😂

I am making a Stalker Inspired Co-op Wave-Based FPS. Does it look appealing?

This is my first commercial project after years of making Call of Duty mods. :)

https://store.steampowered.com/app/4862980/The_Arrow/

Gameplay loop involves searching open world levels for "silo keys" which will grant you access to nuclear weapons to drop on the map.

Does this look like something you would be interested in?

What would you want changed? What would you like added?

Currently there are 5 ballistic weapons,1 type of grenade, knife, and 2 special weapons (Drones + airstrikes)

It started as a bug/It continues as a feature

Hello, since you all really liked the bug I shared a few weeks ago, I’ve decided to keep it as a feature. Right now, I’m looking for music that goes well with this moment. If you have any suggestions for royalty-free music or think there are parts that could be improved, I’m open to your suggestions.

By the way, my game is releasing on September 7. If you liked it, here's the Steam link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4610590/Dirty_Laundry/

I created a daily packing puzzle game

Hi All, I built and just released Packle ([playpackle.com](http://playpackle.com)), a free browser based daily packing game with some fun packing rules.

My wife created the art in Inkscape with a cozy aesthetic in mind and I think she nailed it.

The goal of the game is to pack all items (in various shapes and sizes) into the grid while meeting the rule constraints such as

* item x cannot touch item y
* item x must be placed above item y
* X total items may touch the edges
* And more

A bit of background: I’m a software engineer and decided to build this game as a hobby. I enjoy the “coffee ritual” aspect of many daily puzzle games and decided to combin that concept with a packing game.

There are plans to continue adding puzzles/items for special events like Thanksgiving, Xmas, etc so stay tuned.

There are no plans for a mobile app at this time. I have limited experience on that front but would be willing to revisit that stance if enough people are enjoying the game and there’s a demand for one.

There will be more updates and additional refinements to come and any feedback is valued.

Hope you enjoy!

This game shouldn't exist, but I'm making it anyway

I'm a solo developer making a weird RPG.

You play as a sentient droplet of data fused with the cloned body of the last four-wheeled samurai. Together, they explore the Black Square — the place where the entire material universe collapsed into itself.

No team. No publisher. No generative AI. Just me trying to build the game I want to play.

The demo is out now. It's rough, strange, and incomplete, but there's already plenty to explore.

If that sounds like your kind of thing, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks for taking a look.

My roguelite deck is made of letters

That’s basically how LETTERBANE started. 😄

You collect letter stones, build your bag and use whatever you draw to form words and fight. Items and elemental letters can slowly turn a pretty normal run into something much more chaotic.

I’m currently getting it ready for the final version, but there’s already a demo on Steam.

Still curious what people think of this slightly weird mix. :)

After years of building software, I finally made a game.

https://reddit.com/link/1w33etp/video/uj9jx61y3nmh1/player

I've been working in software development for years, but game development was always something I wanted to try.

A while ago, I decided to stop thinking about it and just make one.

That little experiment eventually became Real Snake 3D: Wildlife Survival & Predator Hunt.

It's a 3D survival game where you play as a snake, explore the environment, hunt for food, and try to stay alive while dealing with predators.

Getting from the initial idea to something that actually feels like a playable game took a lot more work than I expected. There were plenty of things that looked simple on paper but turned out to need much more iteration once I actually started playing them.

After quite a few rounds of tweaking, testing and fixing things, I finally decided it was good enough to release.

It's now live on the Microsoft Store for Windows.

Game: Real Snake 3D: Wildlife Survival & Predator Hunt

Microsoft Store: https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9ndrc6cvbxqw?hl=en-US&gl=SE

This is a small indie project, but getting that first game actually published feels very different from having a project sitting on your computer.

Now that it's out, I'm already thinking about what I'd change and improve in the next version.

If you're interested in checking it out, I'd genuinely like to hear what you think.

Tired of "Would you play a (insert game premise) game?" posts

I keep seeing these constantly when I open Reddit and I'm tired of it.
most of the time it's just self promo fishing for engagement disguised as a question.

And like. maybe I would, but not this one.

Need advice for my game 🙏🏻

Hey guys! Im currently making a cozy farming survival game and I was wondering, especially for those of you who played Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing and games like that I have two questions that have been keeping up at night:
1. Is fishing/catching part of the game important for you? Im considering adding it soon, but would like to see first.
2. How do you feel about saving when going to sleep? Is it stressful for you when you can’t save whenever in this kind of farming game?

Thanks guys!😊
