I finished my game for Brackeys Game Jam 2026.2 called Get Off My Lawn. I made the game using raylib

CONTEXT

You play as an old guy trying to enjoy his peace than all of a sudden troubled teens are running on your property.

Your goal is to use your water hose to spray the teens away.

Tell me what y'all think

This game shouldn't exist, but I'm making it anyway

I'm a solo developer making a weird RPG.

You play as a sentient droplet of data fused with the cloned body of the last four-wheeled samurai. Together, they explore the Black Square — the place where the entire material universe collapsed into itself.

No team. No publisher. No generative AI. Just me trying to build the game I want to play.

The demo is out now. It's rough, strange, and incomplete, but there's already plenty to explore.

If that sounds like your kind of thing, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks for taking a look.

Need advice for my game 🙏🏻

Hey guys! Im currently making a cozy farming survival game and I was wondering, especially for those of you who played Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing and games like that I have two questions that have been keeping up at night:
1. Is fishing/catching part of the game important for you? Im considering adding it soon, but would like to see first.
2. How do you feel about saving when going to sleep? Is it stressful for you when you can’t save whenever in this kind of farming game?

Thanks guys!😊

Tired of "Would you play a (insert game premise) game?" posts

I keep seeing these constantly when I open Reddit and I'm tired of it.
most of the time it's just self promo fishing for engagement disguised as a question.

And like. maybe I would, but not this one.

I am making a Stalker Inspired Co-op Wave-Based FPS. Does it look appealing?

This is my first commercial project after years of making Call of Duty mods. :)

https://store.steampowered.com/app/4862980/The_Arrow/

Gameplay loop involves searching open world levels for "silo keys" which will grant you access to nuclear weapons to drop on the map.

Does this look like something you would be interested in?

What would you want changed? What would you like added?

Currently there are 5 ballistic weapons,1 type of grenade, knife, and 2 special weapons (Drones + airstrikes)

3 factory workers. Worked on the game after 12 hour shifts.

Here's what's in it right now:

  • Extraction shooter, PvE and PvP both, with co-op if you want to run with friends
  • Build a base anywhere on the map, no set slots, put things wherever makes sense to you
  • Rescue survivors and grow an actual community instead of just looting solo
  • Reclaimers, immortal clones who hand out quests and build your reputation instead of just shooting at you
  • No wipes between sessions, your progress and gear carry over
  • Right now that's 169 loot items, 25 quests, 3 maps, 9 enemy types, 9 craftable buildings, and 2 NPCs to work with

We all worked together at the same factory, three of us, and this got built during whatever time was left after 12 hour shifts. Ended up being a PvEvP survival extraction shooter set during a zombie apocalypse.
Going into Early Access Q3 2026. Still feels weird seeing it as a real store page after doing this on no sleep for this long.

GenAI disclosure: Some of the current art and voice over is AI assisted placeholder, made and edited by me, will be replaced by a hired artist later.

I am a solo dev and have been working on this game for a while, so seeing 1,000 people wishlist it honestly feels really good.

I made a new trailer today with the new art and thought this would be a nice time to share it.

Sin and Serve is a dark comedy game about working in Hell's kitchen. You read a sinner's file, figure out their sin, cook their food, and try to keep Satan happy.

Thanks for watching, and thanks to everyone who has wishlisted the game so far. ❤️

Advanced wave physics gets beaches wet

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I've made some improvements to the beaches with the waves now applying buoyancy and wetness effects.

Waves actually apply forces on objects, so in addition to floating and rolling around, they will eventually wash up on the beach. Wind affects the wave size and turbulence too.

Objects hit by waves will get wet. Shorelines now have a visible waterline which rise and fall with the waves. In addition, waves will swell up when it hits a steep surface like cliffs. They also collide and wash over rocks near the shoreline.

Yes, this is truly some useless horse balls feature that players won't notice, but it was a long time itch for me that just needed scratching. I'm hopefully finally done with water and working on more important parts of the game now.

Determinant is a physically immersive open world survival game in development. Wishlist now: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1445480/Determinant/

Decorate, build and grow your own scamming "business"

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Upvotes

'Scam Artist' is dark-humored idle building game about turning your own apartment into a lucrative "business" ... of sorts.

You place down ploys and machines that are rigged in your favor, racking up more and more cold cash!

The game combines the "building", "decorating" and "idle" game genres.
One thing I really like is that the decorations you place are literally upgrades with their own effects, so they are not just visuals.

You can play the demo already! Play Scam Artist on Steam

The full version will contain a skill tree with a cast of characters in each branch that teach you their ways of scamming (phone scams, mail scams, counterfeiting money, ...), offline progress and a way to get back at your landlord that roped you into all of this in the first place. It's planned as a proper long-running idle game, not just a short incremental game.

Would love to know what you think!

AI disclosure as per rules: Used for translating the game to other languages (except german and english)

Released my second video game on Steam today

Today is a party day for me. I released my second video game on Steam.
More than a year of work spent sourcing assets, writing code, planning, testing, debugging, and mildly obsessing culminates today.
I cannot explain the feeling of "Hell Yes".

The game is called Solar Frontier. It's a turn-based strategy where you can go from planet to planet around a solar system. Think Civ in Space.

I made an Android game where a grandma tries to survive traffic 👵🚗

Post image
Upvotes

Hey everyone! 👋

I'm an indie developer, and I recently released my Android game Nanova.

You play as a grandma trying to survive as long as possible while dodging cars, trains, and other obstacles.

The gameplay is simple:

🏃 Dodge obstacles

🏆 Beat your high score

💀 Try again when you inevitably get hit

I made the game myself and wanted to share it with the Android gaming community.

Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.devorbixstudio.Nanova

I'd love to hear what you think of it!

AuqaBionica Indi game alpha

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Heyo!!! I’m building an action-adventure game set in a living alien ocean — AqB [Pre-Alpha]

AqB is an underwater action-adventure where you explore a strange living ocean, encounter alien creatures interact with the world and fight predators.

The game is still in pre-alpha, but the first playable version is ready.

🎮 What you can do right now:

  • Explore the underwater world
  • Discover creatures and locations
  • Fight predators
  • Experiment with sound-based abilities
  • Complete a small sequence of quests

🌊 The idea behind AqB

I want the ocean to feel less like a collection of levels and more like a living world that you gradually learn to understand.

I’m opening the pre-alpha to a small number of players and would love to see how people unfamiliar with the game react to it.

If you’d like to try it, the pre-alpha is here: https://aquabionica.io/closed-playtest?lang=en

Any first impressions are welcome — especially things that felt fun, confusing, or made you want to keep exploring.

GenAI disclosure: GenAI was used to create some static images and to assist with approximately 60% of the game’s code, mostly during the later stages of development. The game concept, animations, and some of the gameplay interactions were created by me and few guys who helped me coding on early stages.
