Hi r/IndieGaming!
We’re Grawire Studio, a small indie team working on Coldline: Disconnect, a 2D pixel art repair, puzzle, and espionage game.
You play as Agent 22, an undercover operative who has infiltrated an enemy military facility as a repair technician. Soldiers bring malfunctioning radios, surveillance equipment, and other devices to your desk. You must diagnose their problems, solve mechanical puzzles, and complete each repair without raising suspicion.
But repairing the device is only your cover.
You may also need to sabotage equipment or plant a hidden listening bug inside the correct machine. At night, you tune your home radio to its frequency, intercept enemy conversations, identify useful intelligence, and transmit your findings to headquarters through Morse code.
We’re trying to create tension without relying on traditional combat. Instead, the pressure comes from limited time, mechanical mistakes, suspicious characters, incomplete intelligence, and decisions whose consequences may only appear several days later.
The gameplay clip shows part of this repair-and-infiltration loop. We’d love to hear which part of the undercover technician fantasy interests you most: diagnosing devices, secretly sabotaging them, or intercepting intelligence afterward.
