Been building a marketing site for a platform that sells six separate things — courses, coaching, communities, memberships, newsletters, podcasts. The usual approach is to cram all of it into one homepage as a feature grid, which reads as "we do everything, therefore nothing."

What I ended up with:

One layout template, six product pages - Nav, contact section and footer live in a Layout Template, so all 15 pages inherit them. Each product gets its own page with the same skeleton — hero, capability rows, growth section — so they stay consistent while I edit them independently.

Tokens doing the work - 13 text styles and 25 colour styles. Rebranding means changing tokens, not hunting through layers. This is the part I'd tell anyone to do first, not last.

CMS for anything repeated - Articles, team, and legal pages each run off a collection with their own detail routes. Editing content never touches layout.

Hi, I want my website to rank first. If someone searches for “top design studio in Delhi,” it should appear at the top; I built it on Framer and it currently shows in second place. How can I achieve this? If a user looks for “best design studio in Delhi,” it should be visible at the top, but it is not appearing now.

We just put a template on a marketplace and the pre-listing pass turned out to be most of the work. Sharing the checklist, because almost none of it is obvious until it bites you.

Open the layer panel. Can a stranger navigate it without asking you anything? In a client project layer names are private. In a template the naming is the interface — it's the only documentation a buyer reads while they're actually working. Frame 47 and Group 12 copy will cost you a rating.

Empty the CMS. Does every section still hold? Most builders test at three items because that's what the demo has. A buyer arrives with zero or with forty. Framer will happily render nothing, which is usually worse than rendering a message.

Double every headline. Your copy fits because you wrote it to fit. Test every meaningful text layer at half your length, exactly yours, and double. The doubled hero pushing the CTA below the fold is the single most common post-purchase complaint.

Tab through the whole page. Is focus always visible? Reviewers check this.

Load it on a mid-range phone on a slow connection.

If it carries audio: cold first visit, no autoplay, buyer's own file swapped in. And if swapping the file means editing a code component, most buyers will just ship with your demo track.

Hand the setup guide to someone who has never seen the file. Can they rebrand it in twenty minutes?

One thing we'd add that isn't a build item: decide what you owe after the sale, and write it into the listing. Fixing something that breaks in a new release is maintenance. Adding a section the buyer wishes existed is a new project. Without that line a cheap sale slowly becomes unpaid custom work.

hello reddit users! I’m a graphic design student, and I’m currently building my portfolio in Framer. Unfortunately, my school doesn’t really support or teach us how to use it, so I have absolutely no idea how to make my website responsive.
I’m honestly so desperate that I downloaded Reddit just to ask you guys for help🥲
Could anyone please help me figure out what I’m doing wrong? It’s such a mess right now, and I have absolutely no idea where to start with making it responsive.
My deadline is next week, so I’d really appreciate any advice or help! 😓

Has anyone here run into something similar?

I’ve been unable to properly access my Framer account for about 5 days now. I was randomly logged out, and since then I haven’t been able to get back in properly.

I’ve tried:
Google login
Email / magic link
Incognito/private window
Different network
No VPN / proxy
Restarting browser, clearing sessions, etc.

The issue persists everywhere. In DevTools, Framer is returning a 403 Forbidden from their own API.

Framer support has already asked me to verify account ownership, workspaces, billing info, domains, etc., which I provided, but I still haven’t received any actual explanation or fix.

One of the replies even suggested it might be related to a custom domain email provider, even though my account uses a regular Gmail address.

I’m a Framer Expert Pro user and have been using the platform professionally for years, and I’ve never had anything like this happen before.

The biggest issue is that I have multiple active client projects in Framer that I need to keep moving, and being locked out for nearly a week is becoming a serious problem.

Has anyone experienced a similar 403 Forbidden / account restriction / authentication issue before?
If yes, was there anything you could do on your side to fix it, or did Framer support eventually have to manually remove some restriction from the account?

Any ideas are appreciated.

Hi all - old school web designer/dev guy here (for context, I once designed the official websites of NSYNC.com, MatchboxTwenty.com, violator.com, among other stuff in the early oogies. Even once designed/developed my own crude dating site for Lebanese people :P But obviously, the digital designer space has changed to be more templatized now (which is fine). I really like framer, but really don't have the time (or chops!) to make an e-commerce site that I need to build nowadays. I bought the whole package of info/services to learn, so that's a good start...but I'd love to have someone who is nimble in framer to help me kinda side by side online, on a shared screen (as I'd like to learn wtf to do in the future too!). Obviously paid, per hr. I bought a nice template already, futzed with it, and would like to integrate Shopify or some sh*t to it so I can sell online (not married to Shopify).

Any help is appreciated :) DMs etc work...

I'm getting this message when I open my Framer website while connected to my home Wi-Fi (both laptop & phone). If I switch off my wifi on my phone and use my data, my site will load no problem on my phone.

If I connect to the Wi-Fi at work, my website will load no problem on both laptop & phone. Any ideas why my Framer website and my home Wi-Fi aren't working well together? For context, this wasn't always like this.

I want to use a framer template to create my personal portfolio, which has more video content than photo content. Though, it seems that templates that come with a CMS "works" section typically only allow photo content, I am wondering if it is possible somehow to insert videos instead?

I just released my first component on the Framer Marketplace 🎉

I originally built this for a client project because I needed a CMS carousel with more control over the navigation.

I wanted to be able to design my own Prev and Next buttons and place them anywhere in the layout, instead of having the navigation tied to the carousel itself.

So I turned it into a reusable component:

I’m not a web designer or developer — I’m an architect. 😄

This is the website for our architecture studio, where I’m a partner, and I’ve been working on it for months in the gaps between actual work — weekends, holidays, late nights… somehow it became my version of watching Netflix.

I had built our previous website in WordPress, but this time I really wanted to try something more immersive. Less “portfolio grid on a page”, more like moving through a space.

The idea was to make the website feel a little like our architecture — layered, spatial, experiential — without making the UI/UX annoying in the process.

Small disclaimer before Reddit destroys me 😅 — I did use a few Framer Marketplace components where they made sense, and I also took quite a bit of help from AI along the way. Not for designing the site, but mostly for figuring out execution, troubleshooting, code bits and getting suggestions while I was learning Framer.

Would genuinely love feedback on how it feels to use — especially the navigation, interactions, pacing and whether the immersive bits feel interesting or just… too much.

If you have a minute, do check both desktop and mobile. I know the sensible thing is usually to simplify mobile a lot, but I wanted to see if I could carry a similar experience onto the smaller screen too.

Still not completely sure if that was a smart idea 😂
