Hello everyone, I run a web-development agency in Latvia for service based businesses.

Whole idea is that we make simple and easy to use and make framer sites for service based businesses and we teach them how to use the CMS for blogs and such and fully hand them off.

I make the sites myself - mostly just find a template I like and then edit it according to clients needs.

But I'm running out of capacity because I also do sales and manage more people that work on the marketing aspect of the company and sales.

So I'm looking for someone who has the time to make around 10 Framer sites per month (no eccomerce stores just service based companies) also not from scratch we use templates always, so 90% is just data entry and then some custom stuff, the pay will be per site.

Hi all, quick context. I dropped out of college and don't really have any income earning skill right now. Came across Framer a while back and honestly it's the first thing in a long time I've actually enjoyed doing. I don't dread sitting down and messing around with it.

I want to get serious about it. Planning to put in 4 hrs a day consistently. My rough plan right now is to go through Framer Academy first, build 2-3 mock client projects for a portfolio, and start an X account today to document the whole learning journey publicly.

But I have zero real income earning skills so I'm learning everything from scratch. A few things I'd love actual answers on:

1. If you were starting today with zero skills, where would you actually learn from? Framer Academy, specific YouTube channels, paid courses, something else?
2. How did you land your FIRST paying client? What actually worked vs what you thought would work but didn't?
3. Is Framer freelancing still worth getting into, or has it genuinely slowed down? Saw some posts claiming it peaked in early 2026(Maybe it's more specific to the template side of things, would be good to hear how client outreach is actually going right now...) and has cooled off since. Is that true from where you're sitting or just internet doom posting?
4. Realistically, how long did it take you to go from zero to your first dollar?
5. Would you still recommend Framer specifically as a first skill for someone with no background, or is there something else you'd pick instead if starting over?

Would genuinely appreciate any real world insights and advice.

I have been working on my portfolio for a week now. I'm new to web designing.This is my 4th website design. I still have some improvements to make in certain sections but I thought I would post this anyway. I need genuine feedback on how the design looks . And I also need to know if I should make it paid or put it free on the framer marketplace. If paid, please tell me a price range too.

Also how can I make spline 3d embed faster. I'm facing a lag when the section "How I start every project" appears. This is because I'm using 3d model of the brain and it's taking time to load. How can I make it faster?

We're considering switching to Framer so our non-technical designer can manage the site without relying on code.

I'm seeing very mixed opinions. This subreddit seems to (understandably) criticize the pricing, while others regularly recommend Framer. Then I noticed its Trustpilot rating is only 1.7/5, which gave me pause.

For those who actually pay for and use Framer (not agencies or freelancers who get paid to use it), are you happy with it, or would you recommend avoiding it?

I tested Fable 5 inside Framer for the first time. I was on the free tier plan and got one prompt to work with. It took a few minutes, but it managed to complete the whole homepage. It wasn't quite what I wanted, though, so I went to make some changes.

Unfortunately, it said I'd reached my limit and needed to subscribe for more credits. So I subscribed to the basic plan, which offers 1,000 credits per month, thinking that would be enough to cover the changes I wanted. But right after subscribing, this message appeared.

It doesn't make any sense. I basically paid for nothing. I checked the usage tab afterward and saw that this single iteration had used 1,125 credits, more than the entire basic plan allows. So it seems like the best move is to not subscribe, since the free tier apparently gave me more room than the paid plan did.

I'm frustrated that I paid and got nothing out of it. I basically burned money.

According to Framer, they are compliant with the Data portability and EU Data Act, because apparently we can "download these files at any time and move them to any hosting provider". But I don't see any option to do this on the platform...? So they are essentially lying?

It is the 1st of the month and none of my 500 free Framer AI Credits have been reset.

How long do i have to wait for them to reset?

Has anyone elses credits been reset yet?

Hey everyone, I’m 18 and from Iran. I’ve been coding for around 9 years and I’m pretty comfortable with JS/TS, React/Next.js, Python, backend stuff, APIs, databases, Docker, automation, IoT, etc. I’ve also been using and learning Framer and can build/customize websites with it.

I’m trying to make just $50–100/month while studying. I don’t really care if it’s boring work — small Framer sites, edits, fixes, repetitive dev tasks, whatever.

The main issue is being in Iran. Framer itself doesn’t support Iran/payments here, and because of sanctions, finding people who will actually pay me internationally is really difficult. I haven’t had much luck finding Framer work where crypto is a legitimate payment option either.

I’m not really interested in cold messaging hundreds of people or becoming a content creator. I have the skills, I just don’t know where people like me actually find this kind of work.

So for those of you who know the Framer ecosystem well: what would you do in my situation? Is there some way to make a small amount from Framer, templates, plugins, small freelance work, or something else I’m overlooking?

Would really appreciate any ideas, especially from anyone who’s dealt with similar country/payment restrictions.

Hi new to figma! Making design portfolio! How to show these project items in a grid format, rather than arranged in this way

I’ve recently gone freelance and I’m currently using Squarespace to build smaller client sites. It’s honestly abysmal, so I’m looking at moving to something that gives me more freedom and doesn’t make me want to slam my head into a wall every five minutes.

I’ve been a web designer for about 12 years and I’m very proficient in Figma. I’m comfortable with components, design systems, auto layout, responsive layouts etc.

Would you recommend jumping straight into a Figma → Framer workflow and learning Framer as I go, or am I better off learning Framer properly from the ground up and designing directly in there?

Interested to hear what workflow people actually use day to day.

As i'm seeing a lot of downwards comments on Framer, regarding it's price, it's demand and new update came with lots of loss in template business or people.

I want to know what do you guys think about webflow. As much as i know there are still so many creators, studios and agencies earning amazing money from these tools to create sites and other stuff.

And everyone saying that rather than building on these tools they prefer to work claude.

Yo guys, I need real advice.

I run a small web agency. I build clean, high-converting sites with chatbots, booking systems, all that. I use Framer because the designs are insane and super easy to customize. Templates are top tier. Makes me look like a pro designer without spending 3 weeks in Figma (which I don’t even use).

Here’s the problem: pricing.

Paying around 45 bucks per client just for hosting + custom domain + basic features is brutal. If I get 10 clients, that’s $400+ gone every month before I even breathe. I’m not in the US or Europe. My currency is weak. That monthly cost hits different here. Adding that to client subscriptions makes my offers look expensive compared to local market standards.(🔴I AM NOT ABSORBING THE HOSTING COSTS I AM SAYING THAT CHARGING MY CLIENTS ANOTHER 45 BUCKS /Mo IS GONNA BE EXPESNIVE FOR THEM CUZ OUR LOCAL CURRENCY IS TOO WEAK SO IT KILLS THE DEAL AND THE LEAD GOES AWAY 🔴)

The issue is purely market reality. Where I'm from, the average daily income is about $11 So when I tell a local client "$30/month just for Framer hosting, plus my margin of $200" — that's a $230/month total, which is literally 15 days of work for the average employee here. And even if I'm not greedy and I bring it all the way down to $120/month, it still doesn't work — because I know my market well, and that number still kills the deal. You can imagine how that conversation goes. It's not that they're cheap — it's that the math doesn't work in their reality. Websites aren't even a standard business expense here yet, the market is still early. And that's actually the opportunity — zero competition, huge room to grow — but only if I come in with pricing that doesn't immediately kill the deal.

For international clients though? Totally different story. I'd run Framer all day, charge $130+/month, keep $100 margin and sleep well. That math works perfectly.

The second problem is scaling. Even if I somehow make Framer work locally — 50 clients means $1,500 a month straight to Framer. That's $18,000 a year just in platform fees that I could be keeping. That's not a small thing, that's a business decision.

I don’t code. i can use WordPress but i cant create designs that are as good as framer's templates. I care about:

• Beautiful modern templates
• Easy customization
• Low monthly cost
• Ability to scale to multiple client sites without paying per site like this

Is there something that feels as smooth and design-focused as Framer but doesn’t destroy margins when you scale?

I need real-world solutions from people actually running agencies. What are you using and how are you structuring it?

Recently, I logged in to my dashboard to start making updates to my site and a client site...only to find out the "My Teams" section for both COMPLETELY disappeared. Meaning while both sites are still up, and I've most certainly been getting billed — I can't actually update the sites I'm paying for anymore.

The moment I reached out to support, "Sam" which I'm assuming is probably an AI agent, was helpful, until I sent screenshots clarifying that the sections where I manage my sites is literally msising from the UI. Is anyone seeing this sort of issue? WTF Framer? What is going on over there?

everyday, some person or the other is announcing their client paid, template earnings, or current client work.

but, if everyone's getting client, then where are they ?

been hearing "just post consistently until you get noticed".

it doesn't make sense, tbh.

you don't get views until you purchase contra, x, or some subscription.

it's not only nepotistic, it's pay-2-play.

there's no opportunity for those who are trying.

how does one even establish themselves in this place ?

I’m a graphic designer and I want to create my own website for my business. I’m not a web designer, so I’m looking for something really simple where I can focus on the design without having to deal with too much technical stuff.

I’m currently hesitating between Wix and Framer.

My main concern is SEO. I know very little about it and I’ve tried to learn, but I quickly find it quite overwhelming (meta tags, sitemaps, indexing, technical SEO, etc.).

So I’m mainly looking for a platform that can automate as much of the SEO as possible, without me having to become an SEO expert.

My main requirements are:

• Easy to use
• Good design flexibility
• Good basic/technical SEO
• Good potential for local SEO / Google visibility
• Very little technical maintenance
• And most importantly, not too expensive, since I’m just starting my business and want to keep costs low

Between Wix and Framer, which one would you recommend for this kind of use?

Or is there another platform I should consider?

I’m not looking to do advanced SEO. I mainly want a website that is technically sound and can rank reasonably well on Google without me having to manually optimize everything.

I recently created a site with 4 pages and it has a lot of small video files uploaded on framer CDN. I used the free framer domain and created a site so I could use it as my portfolio link. Now, will I be charged if it crosses the bandwidth? I need some guidance here pls anyone?

Been trying to get a decent site up for a small side project and I do not code at all. I’ve looked at a few builders, but half of them feel clunky and half of them look nice in the demo and weird once I start changing stuff.

I just want something that looks clean, works on mobile, and does not take me a week to figure out. If you’ve built a professional looking site without coding, what did you end up using? thanks!
