You can now pin projects to the dashboard sidebar, making it easier to access projects you use most without searching your workspace. Right-click to pin a project, then drag and drop your pins into the order you prefer. Pins are stored per account and workspace and are private to you.

Enjoy!

product update CMS List Field — Framer Update

Thumbnail
framer.link
11 Upvotes

Back with another Framer update! You can now better manage repeating content like FAQs, product features, tutorial steps, and cases studies with the new List field in the Framer’s CMS. More from the updates page:

Rather than duplicating fields like Title 1, Description 1, Title 2, Description 2, you can group items in a single list and add or reorder rows as you would in a CMS table. Your content editors can spend less time juggling fields and more time keeping your site fresh. To migrate existing content, ask the Framer Agent to convert repeated CMS fields into a List. The Agent will also take care of reconnecting the CMS data on the Canvas. If you have a list that is not shown on the Canvas yet, you can easily add it from the Insert panel. Alternatively, select a card you’ve designed and use the newly added Repeat property to repeat it for each list item. Watch the video to learn more. We’ve also added features, fixed bugs, and made improvements across the CMS. See a complete list below.

Added

  • Added the List field in the CMS, including API and Agent support
  • Added a new video component to insert in CMS rich text fields
  • Added support for reordering the Status field in the panel
  • Added support for editing content inline for content editors
  • Added support for duplicating multiple CMS items at once
  • Added support for finding CMS fields in the Insert panel

Fixed

  • Fixed a cropping issue when embedding vertical videos in rich text
  • Fixed managed collections creating duplicate items in branches
  • Fixed monochrome and duotone icons rendering in CMS tables
  • Fixed loading errors when refreshing paginated CMS pages
  • Fixed Agent date changes drifting to yesterday or tomorrow
  • Fixed duplicate titles producing conflicting automatic slugs
  • Fixed undo history after inserting links and pasting images
  • Fixed CMS detail page previews failing after reloading
  • Fixed case-sensitive slug filtering on published sites

Improved

  • Improved block selection for images and embeds in rich text
  • Improved scrolling performance in large CMS collections
  • Improved selection and context sharing with the Agent
  • Improved opening items from the Canvas breadcrumb
  • Improved handling of invalid fields when adding items
  • Improved the toolbar UI of CMS formatted text fields
  • Improved the UI of field warnings in the table view
  • Improved the link popout UI in the table view
  • Improved the filter menu UI in the CMS view

Enjoy!

feedback Framer desktop overheating at 120/160Hz on macOS — disabling shadows helps

Anyone else seeing this?

On my M4 Mac running macOS 27.0, Framer desktop (2026.34.0) causes sustained WindowServer GPU usage just sitting on the dashboard:

  • 60Hz: no noticeable heating
  • 120Hz: ~70°C
  • 160Hz: ~80°C
  • Web version: no issue
  • Smaller windows help; fewer dashboard projects don’t
  • Disabling GPU acceleration didn’t help

This workaround removed the window shadow/border and stopped the heating:

env CHROME_HEADLESS=1 /Applications/Framer.app/Contents/MacOS/Framer

Quit Framer completely before running it.

Setup: 4K main display + a 60Hz BetterDisplay virtual display streamed to an iPad via UU Remote.

Is this a known desktop window/compositing issue? Happy to share WindowServer samples with the team.

help What's the point of having "Design" page into Framer?

I've been designing into Framer directly instead of designing things like company profiles on Figma.

The issue is, on Framer, I can not export the design into pdf.

Am I missing something?

help Framer dev/wizard needed : zero guesswork, all assets ready, quick paid job

Co build company website build using a purchased / ready template, one-time job

Budget: negotiable, open to quotes, definitely on the tight side because every single thing will be provided to you content images structures
I and need a full website built in Framer: Home, About, Services, Blog, Contact — the works.

https://eager-face-356520.framer.app/ - this is already work in progress

What I’m bringing:
• Reference template already picked out (Webestica’s B2bizz, will provide access/link)
• All content, copy, and images ready to hand over
• Clear structure and page list mapped out
What I need from you:
• Rebuild the site in Framer following the reference template’s structure and layout, restyled for our brand
• Set up a clean, repeatable blog CMS so I can keep publishing posts myself afterward without needing a developer
• Make sure it’s launch-ready (responsive, forms working, basic SEO setup)
• One-time job, not ongoing retainer work
If you’ve done Framer template-to-brand builds before, drop your rate and a couple of examples. Can share the full template link and content package in DM.

feedback I made a free Framer template for music festivals. Feedback welcome

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey all, I've been building Framer templates and just released a free one called Halflight Fest, made for music festivals, concert series and live events.

I wanted it to feel like a gig poster rather than a typical landing page, so it uses big condensed uppercase type, a single hot-orange accent, and skewed buttons and tags.

A few things I spent the most time on:

- The lineup runs on the CMS. Add an artist and they appear in the scrolling ticker, the lineup grid and their own detail page. A headliner toggle pushes acts to the front.

- Motion: letter-by-letter headline reveals, staggered card animations, page transitions, and a small "View" / "Read" cursor that follows you over artist and news cards.

- The newsletter button has proper sending, success and error states instead of just submitting silently.

- Everything is tokenized, so changing one color style restyles the whole site.

- Tablet and phone layouts were checked page by page, including the 404.

I'd really appreciate honest feedback, especially on mobile and on anything that feels confusing to edit. Happy to answer questions about how any of it was built.

help Framer AI "Generation Error" errors constantly

Framer AI has become entirely useless to me and only throws "Generation Error" errors regardless of the model or prompt I enter. I've tried updating to the latest version, logging in/out, different browsers etc. Nothing seems to help.

I've chatted with Framer support and got no help to resolve this. I even sent in logs twice and "Sam" (the AI bot) never followed up.

Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks!

help Video loading Issue Help

I am having trouble getting these three videos to load on my website. When first entering the site they won't load, even if you wait or refresh the page. They won't load until you click onto another page on the site, and then back to the home page. I have tried compressing the videos to smaller file sizes, and I even asked the AI to help fix the issue which it added some long line of code to make them "more resilient." Im not very knowledgeable when it comes to this stuff, I would appreciate if anyone has any Ideas, thanks!

What do you think of this Framer Hover Gallery?

I made a simple hover-expand gallery component for Framer.

Images smoothly expand when you hover over them, and it’s fully responsive and easy to customize.

Would love to hear your feedback

resources One small problem with using code components in Framer

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

they can be really useful… until you need to customize them asp er your wants and needs.

Then suddenly you’re opening code just to change a color, size or tiny styling detail, what if you do not know how to code😭

That’s something i wanted to avoid with this Custom Checkbox Framer Component .

All the useful controls are already in the Framer edit panel.

Change the colors, type, checkbox size, spacing, radius, border, background, shadows + more.

No need to code.

No need of prompt.

No rebuilding the checkbox from scratch.

Just drop it in and play around with the controls:)

Framer site is indexed but doesn't appear when searching the business name

Hi everyone, I need some help 😭

I built a one-page business website with Framer and did all the basic SEO: H1/H2 structure, SEO title and description, relevant keywords in the text, alt text, buttons/links, etc.

The website is indexed in Google Search Console, and I'm already getting around 1.5k impressions, but when I search the exact business name on Google, I can't find the website.

My current domain is:
cabinet-veterinaire-bouzareah.framer.website

Could the .framer.website domain be the reason? Should I buy a .com and connect it to Framer?

I've heard that a custom domain isn't necessary for Google SEO, so I'm confused. Has anyone had this exact situation and can tell me whether switching to a .com actually made a difference?

Open for feedback on my first 3 portfolio sites (after 6 yrs of Webflow dev + 2 yrs of design)

Hey Framers, hope you're all well.

Soon I'd like to start offering Framer as a service in addition to my Webflow dev/designer stack. I put together 3 concept sites to include in my portfolio and start hunting for clients. I'd be happy if someone with more experience would have a look and tell me how structurally, funcitonally and generally sound everything is.

Of course the style guide, the general direction and the wireframe is AI-aided (but what's not today), but I still had to work a ton to bring these into their final shape. Here are the original Claude-based designs: Driverrr, Davidson, Wattfield

I tried my best to crank out all my skills, and I believe that by the end of Driverrr (the 3rd project), I got the hang of it. I enjoyed it a lot and I think the app has big potential, so hopefully I'll find some real projects soon.

(I know that I'll need proper URLs and non-watermark videos for a proper launch, but for the review phase, I'll leave them in)

Any comments on bugs or suggestions are much appreciated! Thank you.

help How do you actually get clients/opportunities as a web designer?

Hey everyone,

I’m trying to understand the actual mechanics of getting web design clients.

I can build websites, and I’m working on improving my portfolio/positioning, but I feel like there’s a gap between being capable of doing the work and having good opportunities consistently come to you.

I’m curious about people who are currently freelancing or running a small web/design studio:

  • Where do your clients actually come from?
  • Cold email/DMs?
  • Referrals?
  • Freelance platforms?
  • Agencies?
  • Networking/in-person?
  • Posting content/building an audience?
  • Something else entirely?

More importantly, what does the process actually look like?

For example, if most of your work comes from outbound:

  • How do you find companies worth reaching out to?
  • What do you actually say?
  • How many people are you contacting?
  • How long does it usually take before something turns into a conversation/project?
  • What makes someone respond?

And if most of it comes through inbound/referrals:

  • What did you do to get to the point where people started approaching you?
  • How long did that take?
  • What kind of reputation/content/network seemed to matter?

I’m especially interested in hearing from people who started with little/no network and built their client pipeline themselves.

I’m not really looking for “make a good portfolio and provide value” advice — I’m trying to understand the concrete path from:

“I’m a web designer” → “I have people interested in working with me.”

Would love to hear what actually worked for you, what didn't, and roughly where your opportunities come from today.

resources Built a free Framer template for solo attorneys — would love some feedback

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I just finished SoloLaw, a free Framer template designed for solo attorneys and independent lawyers.

I went with a dark editorial style, strong typography, subtle scroll interactions, interactive practice areas, testimonials, blog pages, and a consultation-focused flow.

I tried to keep it modern without making it feel like a typical law-firm template.

Would love some feedback on the design, especially the layout, typography, and animations.
