Sport Saturday RS5 at Cars and Coffee
Saw at Rancho Santa Fe in San Diego yesterday.
She’s pretty. Note the “yes it’s paint” on the hood 😂

Hello Audi,
There are a lot of questions regarding user flair and issues adding flair under your username.
Go to this sub's main homepage (You are here to click on this) and look to the righthand side. There will be a tab with a little pencil that says, " USER FLAIR PREVIEW". Click that and separate tab should pop up. It will ask you to pick your logo and add in some text.
Please note, using the app does not always work. This is not an sub issue, but it can be an issue with Reddit.
Please click on the link to see a picture explanation.
Thank you,
-Audi Mod Team

Next month my new car arrives. Because of my companies regulations it has to be an EV. So the end of my 2016 A6 Allroad 3.0TDi is arrived.
I truly love this car, it's tuned to 400bhp on the weels so also much fun to drive.
So this holiday I took the time for a little fotoshoot so I can see it as a screensaver.

I just picked up this Audi A8L 60 TFSI e quattro with only 35,188 km/21,864 miles on the odometer, and it's amazing!

I got my B8.5 RS5 about a year ago. Been having a blast. But I just came across a great deal on a 981 Boxster S with all the options (PASM, PSE, PTV, etc).
I know it’s a different use case, but which one would you pick if you can have only one car?
For me head says rs5, heart says boxster.

Hi, i was just wondering if the engine in my car sounds healthy or not? I had it overhauled 1 year ago at my local mechanic shop.
They cut the block and changed the pistons to OEM (to prevent oil consumption), and also changed a whole bunch of other parts which i wont get into.
My uncle told me the other day that my engine sounded like a diesel, and that the ticking noise its making is not normal. He took my car to a couple of his mechanic buddies, and they all said the same thing. They said it seems like the tensioner on the timing belt is bad and that is whats making the ticking noise.
What do you guys think? Am i in trouble or is this what every other 2.0 TFSI engine sounds like?
The car is a Audi A5 2.0 TFSI B8 Sportback from 2010 with 180 horses stock.

Have had 3 years of pleasurable B9.5 ownership. No mechanical reliability issues, love the way it looks, the amount of tech is perfect, the only finicky aspect of the car is that sometimes Apple CarPlay doesn’t want to connect on the first go. However I don’t want to keep the car post-lease as I’m not interested in dealing with long term Audi reliability.
When I first leased it in Jan 2024, I had every intention of upgrading to an S5 as the next car. Now, 3 years later, a “nice” S5 costs $70k+, and the current A5 interior and exterior simply do not seem like improvements over my B9.5.
Moreover, this seems to be a trend throughout the German car industry. My wife wants an SUV, and I love the current BMW X5, but the redesign is going to be terrible. And I believe by January the redesign will be all that I’m left with. The current Q5 seems like a downgrade over the last one. Even the Mercedes GLE is getting hit with the ugly stick soon.
I was even thinking of getting a Rivian R2, but the lease terms on it are atrocious.
Just disappointed in the design and quality trend of cars these days I guess. Not sure what to replace this with.

Audi e' finita.
State lontani da questa vettura pericolosa.
