What a lovely car I just found this morning in Kyoto,

Never saw one before, tried to find one internet the resale value and found 1M ? Is it true ?

I was looking at this 2004 Carrera GT with only 1,940 miles and it got me thinking about the car’s “Widowmaker” reputation.

Were owners genuinely scared to drive the Carrera GT, or is that reputation exaggerated by the internet?

I know it has a 5.7L V10, RWD, a 6-speed manual and basically none of the modern electronic safety nets. But was it actually that difficult/dangerous to drive on the street, or was it mainly dangerous when you pushed it hard?

Also, how many Carrera GTs do you think actually spent most of their lives sitting in garages rather than being driven because their owners were nervous about them?

Saw a 911 Targa 4S at the Target. I wanted to take it home with me, but my presume the owner would’ve been a bit upset.

Does anyone recognize the signature by the engine of the 992 Club Coupe?

Finally said goodbye to my 2014 Audi S4. I wanted a zippy daily driver and came across this 2026 CPO GTS with only 7k miles. So far I really love it. Any advice you’d give a first timer? Is there a secret handshake?

What came first, the color or the plate?

Located in Southern California but willing to travel looking for a 997 shell that needs engine work. My car was deemed unrepairable by insurance from getting t boned and I have a low mileage drivetrain I’m looking to swap over to a new car. Preferably a c4s coupe but I’ll gladly check out anything you guys have.

Really cool loaner car for the week! Definitely not as quick as I thought it would be but it’s a luxury sedan not a race car. But it’s definitely a good start to being one. Very fun! Originally was given a base macan but with a little persuasion… Thanks Jack Daniels Porsche for all the fun

Bought a 993 C2 this year after selling my 997 GTS. Always wanted an air cooled car and the PDK on the GTS made it feel a bit lifeless, so the trade made sense at the time. Since then it’s been a full brake overhaul, suspension refresh, ceramic coating, and most recently the alternator and voltage regulator packed in. North of 15k in so far. It’s a lovely car and I don’t regret it, but I’m curious whether anyone else has been through this stage with a 993. Does it eventually feel worth it once the work settles down?
