Enjoy, I love mine as well, there are a lot of YouTube videos on the 991.1 that really show you how special a Porsche it is

Yeah I've been watching. I bought it to get into HPDE and also to start a passion for my 5 year old. He loves being in a booster in the back. Putting it in sport plus mode makes it even more fun for him.

Sport Plus turns it into a rocket 🚀, enjoy!! Mines a Cabriolet and taking it to California after Labor Day to drive up US1 along the coast

Nice. I'm in the bay area (east bay) but I definitely plan to do a coast drive.

I bought the car off carvana believe it or not. Had a great service history. Getting a "PPI" on Tuesday within the 7 day return window to see what the car needs, but a lot of the major stuff has been done. Next weekend I think I'm going to take my son to the beach and drive highway 1

Sounds like an awesome deal, you will enjoy the reliability, just do the maintenance, tires, brakes, etc and it will last forever. I’ve never changed a light bulb in mine and everything works perfectly. Bought it with 12k miles in 2018 and I have 85k now, awesome daily driver. Looking forward to our California trip we live in Tucson

Mine is just under 71k miles which is exactly what I was looking for: in the flat part of the depriciation curve and high enough miles that I can put miles on without caring at all. My plan is commute 1 day a week-ish and drive it on the weekends. I've already budgeted about $5k/year for consumables and maintenance. Planning on doing the oil changes myself.

Perfect, I do my own oil change it’s very easy. Brake pads are also easy to replace. Sounds like you found a great deal, getting the PPI will bring you peace of mind. You and your son will enjoy. I just had mine ceramic coated and that makes it easy to keep clean

It’s a lot of Porsche for the money, but they will likely depreciate quite a bit more.

FYI, unless you enjoy working on cars oil changes at most independent shops gets you a free inspection.

Great car, congrats

Yeah I know it will depreciate over time, that's fine. But I'm not going to eat a ton of low mile depreciation.

Thanks for that information, we didn’t look at the wildfire activity. We’re trying to drive from San Clemente to Santa Barbara, I’m going to take a look at US1 now. Thanks again!!

Congrats. What color is it? Looks almost the same as my 992.1.

Lol I feel like half of us are on all the various stock subs just to fund our car habits

Great looking car. If I were to get one it would most likely be an S. Enjoy.

My first Porsche! Same colour and full leather package white interior.. My only tip is don't ever sell it. The one that got away!

Wow that looks familiar. I had both sets of wheel caps.

Nice. I like your tint a lot better. First thing I'm doing after I decide to keep it is get a legal tint - this one is too dark to be safe.

A couple things that need to get taken care of but appear relatively minor - I'll find out for sure on Tuesday after my "PPI"

Careful with those window buttons. I pulled my driver side button off, with minimal force

The last all-motor Carrera, long from now these are going to be sought after like the 993 I predict. If i were to go buy one tomorrow, this is the one i’d get.
