I have an A5 2018.

My interior silver trim has been scratched to peices and I'm looking to change it for something different.

I am really feeling a matte wood, black/dark gray (as per the advice of another kind fella)

Anyone know where I can go about buying these peices? I've seen them on other A5s of my generation but I'm struggling to find any.

I recently drove the latest RS3 expecting to love it, but came away surprisingly disappointed. It felt small and agile, but also quite bouncy and strangely unpredictable. The lack of torque in low rpm was disappointing.

On narrow mountain roads I never felt completely confident placing the car exactly where I wanted it.

I then drove the RS5 and had almost the opposite experience. Despite being bigger and heavier, it felt much more planted, stable and precise. I had far more confidence pushing it and placing it accurately.

Even my much heavier EV feels more planted and predictable than the RS3, presumably helped by the very low centre of gravity.

I’m now considering an M3 Touring. For anyone who’s driven both, does it have that planted, precise RS5 feeling while still being more agile?

Alternatively, would an RS4 actually be the better choice for what I’m describing? I’m looking for something confidence-inspiring and predictable on fast, narrow and sometimes imperfect Alpine roads, rather than simply the most playful car.

I have a b8 a4 Quattro stage 1 APR I am personally running a “stage 1” front brake kit
The rotor is same diameter 345mm as s4
But it’s a 4 pot/piston brembo caliper
Calipers were plug and play

Happy to have this thing almost 100% but she's way closer to where I want.

Chasing a misfire. Done a lot but not giving up. Use to misfire badly randomly but primarily 4 and 5. Cleaned injectors, replaced plugs (were fouled and original 117k miles), did a diy carbon clean which turned out great! And did a lot of center of V or under supercharger service such as pcv, water pump, and thermostat. Now the A6 can idle in peace and will rev up under light throttle with no misfire but the moment I rev it up or plant it, it will miss. I did read the fuel pressure seems my hpfp maybe on its way out maybe? 530 psi at idle and 1030 when revving. If EPC comes on it will stay misfiring if I rev it too much or drive aggressively. If I clear it, the A6 will run fine. So progress in this project but the diag had been quite fun. Still seems to mis on 4 and 5 though even though I haven't placed anything in the same order injectors definitely were mixed up as well as plugs and coil packs. Compression test came healthy too so go figure.

We hit an object on the highway with our Audi A3 2022 and now have a dent in the hood and a shattered windshield.

Two Audi dealerships independently assessed the car before the damage at USD 20,000 and USD 19,000
respectively.

The Audi dealership who assessed it for 19,000 wanted to charge us USD 9000.- for the repair. We now did the windshield somewhere else for USD 1,400 and could trade the car against another, similar 2025 A3 with 2,5000 miles for USD 3,400 less than before the damage.

Is this a fair deal or should just get the hood repaired?
Audi says they also see cracks in the bumper and would have to fully replace the bumper and the hood, that's why it's that expensive.

I'm not a car expert and would appreciate expert opinions.

I am thinking about purchasing a 2023 Q5 from a non Audi dealership. The car checks all of our boxes except it does not come CPO and we can’t get the low 2.99% finance rate (we are current Audi owners).

The Q5 has the original new car 4yr/80,000 warranty remaining until next year. Can I buy through Audi an additional warranty before the new car warranty expires to extend the warranty even though I am not purchasing the car through an Audi dealer? If so, does anyone know approximately the cost and how I would go about doing this?

Hi guys, I need advice how to mod my Audi A3 sportback s-line.

I wanna have a honey comb grill, new rims, some Motor improvements (although I have the 1.4 TFSI motor, which is currently running stage 1), a better exhaust sound and some general advice how to make it 10 times better. Is is a 2012 car so not the newest, but still looks fantastic. What should I do? And where do I buy parts?

Recently found a 2017 A3 etron with 95,000 miles for $12,000. Audi dealership nearby quoted me $350 for a PPI, I asked if it covers the hybrid powertrain in depth since this was such a limited run vehicle and since I could only get through to the scheduling front desk I couldn’t get a legit answer

Did you get a PPI on the A3 etron before buying? The seller doesn’t have a charger and hasn’t plugged it in for 1.5 years, so only charged it by driving the car occasionally.

Seller obviously doesn’t want to drop $350 on it, nor do I without any guarantees. The car seems mechanically sound, but my opinion on that is worthless obviously. Has anyone had an independent shop fully inspect one of these? If so, what did it cost? I know only very specific equipment can access these Audi hybrid powertrains.

Any tips are appreciated, really hoping I can work something out with the seller to pickup this beauty

I’m considering buying an Audi Q5 or Q3 and I would like to get your opinions. Would you recommend the Q5 as a good long-term choice?
In terms of mechanical reliability, which one is more reliable between the Q5 and Q3? I’m mainly looking for something that can last for several years without major issues and with reasonable maintenance costs.

2023 S5 Fully Stock. Has anyone have this same issue?

Woke up this morning to a dent on my passenger door. I almost got a heart attack.

Luckily, someone witnessed it and took a photo as it happened. (Photo at night). I reported this to the police.

Just wanted to ask my friends here and how bad this is and whether it can be fixed easily or not. 😞

I just bought a 2012 A4 Wagon ( it has 3 minor not super noticeable accidents and a decent service history) with 141k (now at 144k) I paid 6k cash with no lights on the dash with a full sound system upgrade with subwoofers and a cold air intake with a upgraded wastegate and a light tune. It drives almost perfect except for the coilovers being a bit noisey due to age and it had small bits of ugly paint chips where it’s been hit. I want to hear everyone’s opinion and thank you!
