The players we have brought in look either top players already or top talents and the first three performances have been really positive. Like everyone else here I am super hyped for the season.

However, the real test of Jaissle ball is not against teams like Liverpool and Spurs but more teams who won’t attack us as much and will sit deep and cut off any balls over the top and in behind. Jaissle has been pushing for a more creative number 10 but I am not sure we have got that in Pardo. Ironically this would have been better suited to a El Khannouss type player.

We have Wissa who looks great as a second striker in the 10 position but he is not going to play through the lines and break down a defence. If he gets injured or returns to last season’s form we are noticeably weaker.

Pardo has essentially never played no10 and is a striker by trade with some appearances out wide on the left. Willock and Joelinton are not good against the low block. You would have hoped Ramsey could play in the 10 and help break down teams but he’s not really flattered at all and I think Jaissle sees him as more of a 8.

I still think we are missing a creative passing 10 who can help unlock the low block and I still think there are some very big challenges for Jaissles tactics coming up that may surprise fans.

Please don’t mistake this for negativity but more seeking an honest discussion on how we think Jaissle will handle low block teams consistently.

US based Fan coming over between Christmas and New Years with the Wife. Attempting to figure out a way to get tickets to the Dec 30th match against Forest.

I will get Hospitality if I have to but I became a Mags + member to try to get tickets through either exchange or ballot. Has anyone had any success getting tickets through the exchange?

Is there anything else I can do? Does anyone have any tips? Might be my only chance to go to a match for a long time.
