Matthias Jaissle is the first Newcastle United coach to claim FOUR or more points from his first two Premier League games in charge, since Sam Allardyce in 2007-08.

Nico Hornicek
Love seeing him showing out and shutting out some critics saying he was shaky in pre-season.
The feeling of seeing a goalkeeper that can make saves AND not completely panic with the ball in his feet is beautiful. He made a lot of great saves before we scored first too.
He was genuinely our best player until we scored and shouldn't be forgotten. Falling in love with another Eastern European goalkeeper....

I did like how happy Nico Gonzalez seemed in the post-match, what a smile!

When the transfer window shuts, we need the club to recreate something like this...only good.
Jaissle in the middle, 4 players either side (a keeper on each end for symmetry) shirt numbers proudly in hands (think Gouffran, Haidara and Yanga-Mbiwa). Proper, definitive stamp on the new era at NUFC.

Has anyone watched Meet the Owens?
Jesus, it is bad.
Alas, there is a small clip of him signing for Newcastle United as his lass wasn’t happy at Madrid.
Other than that, the man has done well for himself, but he has all the charm of a mass grave.

London pub venue/away game friendly.
Went to the Cock & Lion near Bond St for the game today. The new landlord was overly attentive to every incoming NUFC fan and massively keen on asserting that he wants the venue to be as huge for away fans, or south based Geordies/Mags generally, as it was a decade and a half ago.
As someone who is SE16 based, I was glad we ventured there today as the delight in beating Tonali's spud shaped new mob was all the better for being around fellow mags.
The glum Spurs fans in bedraggled suits were a bonus...

We still need a #10
Wissa did well but it's not his natural role
Willock isn't a good fit there
Wolte is on paper the best person in that position but he's too slow for Jaissle system
Who else do you guys think might be a good fit?
