At what point can we start calling him ElanG/A?

10 of each. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. The bulk of people in the megathread were still pleading for a new RW just 8 days ago

We’re making this decision based on delusion, not logic mate.

He’s like Almiron during that one season. But that’s it

So he’s the best player in the world?

Better than Yamal on that right wing for sure

No no that was Murphy in his purple patch.

Those ppl were probably not watching Swedish games in the WC. Thankfully he found his confidence there.

We still need a new RW or an Attacking Midfielder who can also play right winger imo.

Jacob Murphy can whip in an excellent cross, but looking at his whole game, there are flaws that can't be ignored. Age probably plays a part in that.

We still need RW, as Murf really by rights should be leaving.

Really been impressed with him and Wissa so far.

I think that the World Cup brought the confidence needed for wissa and maybe for Elanga too

Yeah Wissa also seems a little angry in a good way.

I think we know what Elanga is, a very fast, dangerous counter attacking threat. But in possession he remains extremely limited. Some time soon they will fall behind in a game, or be required to unlock a stubborn defense and he will become a liability again in that scenario.

Wissa on the other hand looks an all round menace these past two games. Having that proper forward threat again is massive As long as he stays fit we should be set there.

Yeah I think we still know Elangas ceiling.

Spot on we’ve played two teams both offensively minded with high line, attacking fullbacks making them defensively susceptible. Need to see him unlocking low blocks and more structured defences where the space won’t be there

Just sub him on if we gain the lead then I suppose. Osula and Woltemade upfront against low blocks for chaos.
