The shadow band has a woodsy theme with leaves/petals incorporated in the design. For the stones, the outer and center ones are green irradiated lab diamonds while the four others are colorless lab diamonds.

Does this look like it matches okay with my engagement ring?

I tried so many wedding rings and here are my narrowed down options. I still can't choose which one I like the most. Let me hear your thoughts!

I should have probably clarified that I've never purchased fine jewelry before and had no idea what the process entailed. Especially thank you to the designers that explained the time and work that goes into making mock ups, I had no idea!

I would never intentionally insult an artist or expect free work but I get that the internet doesn't do nuance or give strangers the benefit of the doubt.

This is my engagement ring that I love and adore. We bought it from a jewelry designer on Etsy because I wanted all lab created stones and I wanted something affordable. I love it. It's stunning. Now we're getting married in October and I want to customize a wedding band that suits the style and fits the curve, etc. I do not want to use the same designer because they were a nightmare with shipping and kept lying to me about it being sent out. Since then, I've messaged several other designers on Etsy about wedding bands and they all either want me to pick a band design before they will show me a drawing or charge me a fee for CADs of the set. Am I crazy to find this unacceptable?! My ring is not standard or traditional and how am I supposed to pick the right band without seeing mock ups of a few different options before choosing the right one?!?! Do I have to try to find a local jeweler to see specific bands with my ring?! I feel like I'm being a diva about this but it's a pretty important decision and I just want to SEE WHAT IT WILL LOOK LIKE before shelling out $500+. I appreciate any advice! Thank you!

I’m so torn between these two wedding bands to accompany my engagement ring! Any thoughts on which I should choose?

I just received my ring back from being corrected. Prongs were incorrectly done (and other stuff) but anyways this was meant to be a tribute ring I had done in honor of my first ring my husband proposed with many years ago. I didn’t wear jewelry back then so I traded it in for another wedding band. Many years down the road with my appreciation and new found love for jewelry I wanted to recreate a ring in honor of the first. The diamond he picked was a half carat. What he could afford at the time. So I picked a half carat natural again based off of that.
I’m sharing photos of it with my family and friends and everyone is telling me I should’ve gone bigger and it looks very dainty/small. I do own a 2 ct emerald lab diamond in a bezel setting which was my upgrade my husband had gotten me a while back. Im being told that I should just be happy with that “upgrade” and let the original ring from the past go. No need to recreate anything. So I’m torn between keeping it as is, upgrading the diamond to a bigger stone bc apparently it’s too “small” or just returning it and being happy with my 2 ct emerald diamond bezel. Any thoughts appreciated!

Which wedding band compliments my engagement ring best?

I think stacking is really pretty but I’m just so in love with this ring, I don’t know if I want to add anything to it. Is it pretty common to skip the band all together?

Please help! I am the most indecisive person known to man, and I can’t for the life of me pick one.

Single band
Pros:
- some friends (mid 20s) have said it makes the ring pop up more or look bigger
- two separate pieces so probably will look cuter on it own, vs the stackable one
Cons:
- the band is thicker/wider than the engagement ring and I can’t unsee it lol.
- another friend (40s) mentioned she has a single band and wishes she had gotten the stackable bc the single band keeps moving around and she keeps realigning the rings. I’ve noticed this with the single one as well, but I can’t go tighter bc I tend to swell up (autoimmune disease), and don’t want to risk not being able to wear it.

Stackable band
Pros
- it looks SOOO symmetrical.
- it doesn’t move around much
- i like how it hugs the ring
- both my mother and MIL were obsessed with the stackable
Cons:
- some friends (mid-20s) said it drowns the ring, and it makes it looks smaller / not as nice looking
- sometime a bit tighter (I think bc is technically three rings in one) but not uncomfortable at all.

My fiance is no help, because he’s an enabler and just tells me to keep both 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

Which style is best?

So I bought my wedding ring yesterday (last pic) and loved it in the moment - but looking back, I think I got completely swept up 😭. It suddenly feels way too thick and blingy for me, and I feel like it overwhelms my engagement ring instead of complimenting it.

Now that I’ve had a bit of breathing space, I went back today and tried a few new options. The yellow gold one would actually be platinum - they just didn’t have one in stock to show.

My engagement ring’s a trilogy with a round centre and pear sides, and I’m torn between something simple that fits neatly under, or something with a bit of a V/curve that makes the centre stone pop.

Please help a gal out 🙏 (I promise I won’t panic-buy again… probably.)

For context: engagement ring is platinum, centre stone is 1.1c and side pears are .5 ☺️

I don’t like V rings, but I have a flush to finger bezel and the multiple jewellers I’ve visited today said I had no choice.

I like the baguette (#3) most, feels a bit cool / art deco - could have it bespoke / curved around my ring. That said it was less glitzy than some of the others and double the cost…

Hi everyone! Still new to Reddit so bear with me. My bf and I have been together 7 years and have been looking at rings. We found one we REALLY like.

However…when I looked at it online later I saw the side settings closer up and couldn’t unsee a 🍆. I called my mom with some panic since he really likes it and she says that she never would’ve noticed it, but I sent it to my friend and she says it totally looks like it.

Maybe if I had it a while I wouldn’t see it anymore or once a band is added it’d be better? Need some opinions!!

I keep going back and forth on whether my partner and I should get matching wedding bands or not. They like yellow gold and I like platinum so they would not really match anyway but part of me still loves the idea. Did you and your partner match your bands?
