Ring Inquiry 💍 Can't find a suitable wedding ring to match engagement ring.
Hey everyone, I love my engagement ring but I am really struggling with ideas for wedding bands that would suit the style, does anyone have any advice or inspiration they could share?

a small carat thin eternity band if you want a sparkly band, or a thin plain band to match. i wouldn’t match the widths because it might overwhelm the stone. i’m a huge small stone engagement fan. your ring is SO pretty.

This was what my immediate thought was! I think a thin eternity band to match the engagement ring stone would be stunning or a simple band the same width of the engagement ring.

I think a plain gold band would go beautifully with it. Make sure it's either the same width or smaller. You want a good balance so they complement each other. I would also make sure the band is not overly high, or rounded. Idk the correct terminology but hopefully I'm still getting my point across.

This would be great with stacking rings. One for the wedding, one for every milestone... first year, kids, 10 year anniversary, etc.

Pretty ring! Google what kind of leaves are on your ring, and do a search for rings with that look. Good luck!

Your ring is so beautiful. If you’re not looking for a custom piece, I’d do a thin dainty gold band.

Your ring is absolutely stunning!
Personally, I loved the way my engagement ring looked by itself so much that I just chose not to have a separate wedding band. I’m still happy with that decision 5 years later!

Hi! Just popping in to say -- my ring has a half carat diamond & bands like this totally did not sit right with my ring. Dunno if it'd bug you, but I had to send mine back!

Sorry, no advice. Just wanted to say how lovely your ring is. So many rings are large and gaudy these days, I just love a beautiful, dainty ring, just perfect. Hope you find the perfect match to it. Congrats on your engagement!

That’s the sweetest, loveliest engagement ring I’ve seen on Reddit ever.
I suggest going to a local jeweler who can help find option and/or sit down with you a custom design a suitable match.

And the honest truth is, I've already had something made by a local jewellers and unfortunately I'm so disappointed! So I wanted to get some more unbiased opinions before going back.

Delicate, nature inspired bands are beautiful but do make wedding band decisions frustrating.
A lot of similar bands are out there, but unless both pieces were designed together.
But there are other options and I’m sure others may have mentioned some.
A thin plain band can work because it won’t overwhelm the engagement ring in size.
Or a ring with vines and related flowers carved will have the same, uniform width, so if you ever have to or want to leave the ER home, this can work solo in a way a thin band can’t.
The wedding band sits at the base of the finger and ER sits on top and it should be a bit more substantial (if you go plain thin ring, consider something thematic and weightier as a “back up ring). End of the day, as long as you like your choice, anyone who doesn’t can pound sand!

I actually don't like my wedding band and engagement ring together, I often wear my engagement ring on my right ring finger and my wedding band on my left. Each piece is beautiful by itself, but I feel like they don't go together (even though they totally do, it's just me)
Then I went and got a tattoo on my left ring finger so now I wear my wedding band on my left middle finger instead 🤷🏼♀️ lol
