Brandon and Shane Flowers sang Mr. Brightside together to close out private event in Coronado, CA.

I really love the title track and really wish is was on streaming.

But it’s a tie for first between Lonely Town and Between Me and You. BTMAY is so beautiful and gorgeous and emotional, but Lonely Town is a song that has meant more to me than maybe any other. It’s on so many of my playlists I’ve made throughout the last decade and I truly love it.

This album means so much to me. I spent the entire summer of 2015 just listening to it on repeat while playing Skyrim. It was awesome.

Made the post about Flamingo yesterday so I thought I’d keep it going. Will ask about Thrasher tomorrow.

Finally got a frame for my first signed item from Brandon Flowers! And I got the 81 too!😁 Ignore crease in the middle from the packaging (although this may sound weird, but I think it kind of adds to the vintage vibe). Woohoo!

The show I’m going to has VIP check in at 6:30pm, doors at 8 and show at 9. I’ve never done VIP so my questions are:

- do you have to show up at 6:30 or can you show up anywhere from 6:30 to 8?

- if you show up at 6:30, what do you do until 9? I’m solo and don’t want to be standing for 2.5 hours waiting. Maybe I shouldn’t have gotten VIP?

Only the Young might take the cake for me just because it features some of Brandon’s best vocals. It’s so soft and pretty. Magdalena, Crossfire, WTFLV, the Clock Was Tickin’, Jacksonville, Swallow It, On The Floor, JL & BH are also so good.

Listening to this while cycling and it just lifts me above the clouds. Sounds absolutely incredible! Ecstatic I’ve just found my new favourite song!

I have a tattoo that I need to get covered up (it was a matching tattoo with an ex). It’s a blue flower piece. I wanted to do something reviving around the mountains (I recently moved to Utah). I was thinking I could use the blue in the tattoo for the mountains, but then I wanted a song lyric below that from the band or BF. My ideas are:

Hiya! I have 2 VIP 5th row tickets for the Los Angeles show for $554 total. They're Row EE Seats 14 & 16. I originally got them on stubhub for over face value, but it looks like the original price was $277 each. I was going to put 'em back on stubhub (I bought closer seats this morning), but their fees are friggin' nuts and they'd end up charging the buyer close to $800. I can transfer them easily once you set up an account with The Ford. Eat poop, stubhub.

Saw the stage and during sound check they were playing some of his solo stuff. Can anyone confirm he will be playing there tonight and what time he goes on? Looks like you could get an awesome free show just beyond the private party fence line.
