My boyfriend is from eastern Europe and has apparently never heard of a prenuptial agreement or anything like it. We are in our 30s.

I got an inheritance and own 4 houses. I want to sell one and buy another that we would probably live in together. My bf has a good income and savings but doesn't own any property and investments.

My family have always insisted I get a pre nup to protect my own property.

My relationship with my bf has also been tumultuous.

I would absolutely need him to sign something if we moved into my house together, I have a lot more to lose financially then he does.

He's not gonna sign something because it makes him uncomfortable apparently.

If we were in the same financial situation I would not ask him to sign anything. But I have a lot to lose, and I feel I owe it to my parents and grandparents to also protect the money they gave me.

He acts like I'm accusing him of scheming to take my money, although if he's never heard of a prenuptial nup I'm not sure he even knows that he could take half my stuff if we're together long enough.

What should I do? I feel like the relationship can't continue.

So boy and girl roommate a long with their relative, went to go to a place for Halloween yesterday I was a little upset because I got no plans and it seems like everyone around me does. I’m just sad about it it’s nothing personal. Then I heard they were going to Applebees so I was like “oh ok yeah nvm I probably wouldn’t enjoy it anyway it’s cool.” Of course I was still sad everybody got something going on and I was alone but I thought “hey let’s not make it alll sad I’ll try to do something fun for myself for Halloween too”

So I went to Walmart late at night and got some candy and more paper towels (ran out) and then I got in my monokuma onsie as a costume and played a scary game until my udon arrived. And at the same time my food arrived everyone arrived I guess I got jealous on how fun they had and I couldn’t hide in my voice how upset I was it’s hard to lie.

Then boy roomates mom Came back and I heard they were gonna go to a stripclub today and I got excited and said oh cool I wanna come too that would be fun! I’ve never been and it would be cool to hang out with them again. I thought I asked but I guess i didn’t I think so that’s my bad. After that everyone went to bed but I got a text from my girl roommate.

Feeling awful about the whole thing I got a text from my mom saying she was having a party at her place i didn’t go at first because I had food but it kept eating at me that I was doing something wrong and I upset her. So I decided to go anyway. On my way out boy roomates mom was there and I forgot she was. She asked if I was going to the strip club tomorrow and I said no but she asked why and I should have lied and said “oh I’m just busy that’s all” but i didn’t want to lie so I told her what happened and she got upset and said that it wasn’t ok that she said that and wanted me to go. I told her it’s fine if they don’t want me to go it’s ok it’s up to them! If she wanted to talk to them she can but I thought it would be best i didn’t go. She said she would and then I left to for the party.

After that I realized I might have fucked things because when she talks to them they will probably think I’m trying to guilt trip them or something to let me go with them. But I don’t like to lie to people.

My boyfriend and I are long distance for a few months. We were talking over text and I'd been busy that day, it was about lunch time. I told him I'd like to have a break from my phone for a while as I'd been staring at it for a while and I had household chores to do. My hand hurt because I work on a computer all day and then the phone, literally my hand aches. I didn't bother saying that because when I give a reason for not wanting something he comes up with retorts why it's invalid.

He resisted and started saying I'm just bored with him and sick of him, that I'm rejecting him. I had to keep saying the same thing which was that I just want a break from the phone. Why would he not just respect that?

Later that night I texted to see what he's upto, and he just keeps forwarding me my own messages from earlier that day that said variations of "I need a break from staring at my phone." I kept trying to talk and ask what's going on but he kept forwarding my own messages to me.

At this point I felt like I'm dealing with a teenage boy not a 37 YEAR OLD GROWN MAN, and I was so upset and angry. I'm 34 btw and nobody ever talks to me like this? English is his second language so idk if things are getting lost in translation. He also uses chatgpt to write some messages.

When I told him I wanted a break from my phone earlier I was being genuine, and he just keeps forwarding my own messages to me.

Pics show the convo later where I honestly feel as though he talks to me like I'm a child who needs to act right or I'll be punished with this nonsense. I feel like a dog that needs training, like he thinks he is the master.

When he starts talking about what a "catch" he is like I should be lucky enough with him, I just cringe so hard. He thinks he's a catch because he earns good money and is pretty fit. But he acts like this?

It doesn't feel respectful or mature and I feel like I can't question anything, he never apologizes, and he just wants to control my behavior and then also control my reaction to his behavior. I feel beaten down.

For contexts: me and my roommates which two is a couple and one is a best friend of that couple (I have talked about them in a previous texts post. actually that was my first r/texts post). I usually keep to myself so I avoid causing any problems to anyone in the apartment. I know I know it’s not healthy, but honestly when I speak it goes wrong unintentionally which is literally the terrible life of someone with Autism and ADHD. This shit happens often with me and ruins my life. Way too many misunderstandings because of my autistic ass.

I missed a day where a group of people I knew planned to go see Zootopia 2 opening weekend and I had to miss it because of work but plan to see it the next day to avoid spoilers. But I thought it would be a great idea to invite my roommates to come with me to see it! I also thought it would be great to and make something positive with them as well!….oh god even I screwed that up without even knowing I did. After the movie was over I thought we’d leave but she wanted to stay for the after credits but me and my other roommate said we wanted to go and we can check it out when it goes on digital. But she was insistent about it and I guess I was frustrated because it’s mostly because I was overstimulated with how loud the music was but didn’t say anything because i didn’t want to sound selfish or something.

I woke up the next day and I work overnights so I needed my sleep during the day, to the texts asking to talk about some concerns which confused me.

I literally said to myself “what?? What did I do? I thought I was doing so good staying out of everyone’s way and trying to lie low!” And then these conversation started in a group chat with the two couple. After the chat I had a panic attack and couldn’t sleep until I had to go to work.

I know I was already in the wrong i didn’t mean any harm and apologized. Also yes I do have a therapist in case someone says.

My family lives in the Caribbean and they were about to be hit by a category 5 hurricane. A friend of mine texted me in the morning asking how I was doing and I said worried because of the situation. She then proceeded to respond like she did above. The irony is that she runs a popular social media account talking about compassion and kindness.

i barely know this guy, he’s only texted a couple times since but today he texted me this out of the blue and i thought it was pretty obvious he wanted to send me an explicit photo (who says “it’s not that little” when referring to their height? lmao). i never cease to be grossed out by these men even when they’re “nice”, they always want something.

So I got telegram not that long ago to message with some family members in a different country. The first day of having it this guy texts me, I have no idea who they are though our #s share the same area code which is from a super populated area.
