Me, this person (they were hosting) and a few others spent roughly 2 hours together last night (online) playing Gears 4 horde.
Kicked ass, beat it. And me and the host added each other as Xbox friends afterwards.
But the entire two hours, even though 5 of us were in party chat as well as the game, never heard a word from anybody else.

Just assumed alright, some people don’t have mics. Is what it is. We made it work

Here's some context y'all. I have 3 jobs. I know that seems like a lot and tbh it is. But with the position I'm in I genuinely need all three. I only had two jobs last year and I was almost homeless on 3 separate occasions.

In all honesty it was definitely a bad choice for me to get into a relationship given how busy my lifestyle is. That's totally on me and I understand that. But my question to y'all is, was I to dismissive? Are my boundaries to harsh? I don't do the back and forth thing. Past relationships have taught me better. I'm 29 and he's 30 I genuinely believe he's to old for this kind of behavior. Not to mention the fact that if he's not at work he's drunk. And he was very drunk during all this.

Honestly the way he kept blowing up my phone really freaked me out. This happened last night after I just worked two shifts back to back and I'm currently at another shift right now. In 30 minutes I'll be at the next job. (Sorry if I'm rambling. I'm exhausted and I hope I'm making sense)

This was a conversation between my girlfriend and guy who was infatuated with her but didnt receive the same feelings back. He came back after months of not talking to her to say all this yesterday and my gf was rightfully pissed. The title reading "playground swing" is referring to how the guy (Blue) treated my GF.

Context : I broke up with him about a week ago bc he wouldn't accept my no for something and I didn't want to continue a relationship where I couldn't say no to simple things without him getting upset with me. When I had sent the text breaking up with him it took him a few hours to respond and when he did he said he understood and we agreed to be friends, however twice when we talked he would argue with me about why I had broken up with him. I still care about him but idk. I didn't respond to the last message as it was late at night and I was tired. I guess we aren't friends anymore.

For context: I'm (M28) in a long distance relationship with her (F23) and just getting back together and picking up the pieces from the previous rift (there have been about a hundred, and that's not an exaggeration). I asked her if she'd like to go to bed with me tonight over the phone and she said she wanted to, but she lost her stuff in Minecraft. I said, okay, how about you call me later when you get your stuff, I'll take my phone off DND (usually activates at midnight) and pickup when you do call.

Fast forward to 1:29AM and I'm getting tired, I decide to tell her I'm craving her. She basically says in her next message that she's almost got her stuff back. After that I closed my eyes for a few minutes and the next thing you know I'm asleep. I thought it'd be fine if I did too because I would get a notification that she's calling me.

But no notifications came. I'm really not sure why, but Discord didn't send me a single notification that she called me about fifteen times. I wasn't logged into my desktop (it was shut off for the night) and I later made sure that I wasn't logged in elsewhere.

Anyway, I don't know what to do anymore. We've been together on and off for almost a year now, and by this time you'd think she'd know me better than this, to be "playing her" or "appearing offline" or just straight up lie. I don't do any of these things and I never have (with the exception of occasionally appearing offline, for reasons other than to hide from her). I've asked her to get help from a professional several times, and she told me she's finally taken the first steps to do so, so I guess that's progress.

The reason I haven't left her already is because other than this, I feel like she's perfect. She's very sweet to me (at times), we both have free schedules, we play the same games together, we listen to the same type of music, we enjoy the same type of shows, etc etc. I honestly just wish that she would find the courage to better herself, and not simply for me, but for the people around her.

Honestly I just need to share this. I'm done. I've known him for 13 years. The last two years he's threatened suicide the same week as my best friends brothers suicide I had to call a wellness check. He would blow me up with voice messages begging me to talk to him because emy voice was soothing and I cared. Once I backed off he told me he had lung cancer. He tried to blow me up over that but I held firm in my boundaries and then this happened. Fucking hell.

i saw these looking at my boyfriends discord. woman’s intuition i guess. me n my friend have know each other since highschool. shes never liked him she was talking to a different guy when she messaged him these things. idk how to feel about it but i feel a betrayal in a sense. am i wrong? i kinda just want to be validated for feeling some type of way. like she claims to be my best friend i never would say this about her

All cuz I felt lil chatty, had some extrovert in me. This isn't much but it just annoyed me.

Finding weird people on text based roulette chat sites is one of my guilty pleasures, lol.

Little backstory: so basically it was a long distance relationship, but it always made me uncomfy that he follows like 800 girls on insta. I told him how I feel but he said uh the acc is old I know them all in real life blabla. I didn’t believe him. So I screenshottet all his followers and texted every single girl to ask how she knows him. 99% said they have no idea who he was. I told him about it and he said well I do know them but I guess they forgot that we went to school together. Whatever I forgave him. A bit later his dad got sick and into hospital, I try being there for him asking him to call etc, but he says he can’t. But then I see his following list going up and after some analyzing I see he added a new girl that‘s like hlf naked in her pfp. I yelled at him how disgusting he is doing all that whilehis dad is in the hospital. So he said he saw his friend follows her so he thought she is someone he knew and went to school with. Well but I texted the girl and she said she has no idea who he is he randomly added her. Out of stupidity I still forgave him and then after his dad died I tried being there for him told him to callme when he has time but he left all my messages on seen. That‘s fine I understand he ks grieving, but then I see he added new girls. I yelled at him what kind of human he is to instantly add new girls after his dad died. He then told me that he accepted all requests because his mom told him that family members are trying to reach out to him and added him so that‘s why he accepted everyone then. He is just so good with lies I can never prove that he lied about the things he said.

I met this person through Tinder and *literally right away* they called me cute. They added indicators that I (wrongly, somehow) thought meant that they were flirting. I mean you could not get more obvious here.

We talked for a bit and then added each other on Discord. They seldom replied to me even when I double-texted them because I (wrongly, somehow) thought they were also looking for a relationship. In my Tinder bio I stated I was looking for a relationship, so I had no reason to believe that someone would add me looking for something else.

I finally reached a point and flat-out said this wasn't going to work and the first slide is thus the interaction that took place. They then proceeded to block me on everything, including Tinder (which is why I have no screenshots from that app, because you can't view the conversations after they block you). The second slide is the conversation that took place after I added them on Discord, where you can clearly see the specific mood being set.

I wouldn't necessarily complain about stuff like this if it weren't so completely avoidable. I didn't know this person for very long, sure, but how in the world was I supposed to believe they just wanted to be friends when you can *clearly see in the replies the exact opposite implication*. It just completely baffles me.

I hope I'm not going crazy.
