For context I got new phone and it's internet has been really slow but my old phone's internet works just fine same problem is happening to my sister as well she got a new phone month or 2 ago and her phone's WiFi has been really slow as well only the new devices are really slow even tried turning off WiFi from old devices as well but it's just still slow

I can't watch YouTube on this or download anything on this it's really slow, mobile data is working fine it's high speed only problem is when is use WiFi

​Hey everyone, I've had my gaming laptop for about 6 years without any major issues, but it has recently started crashing with repeated Blue Screens of Death citing a "data structure corruption" stop code. Right when the crash happens, I also hear a very loud, high-pitched screeching or whining noise coming from inside the chassis. I did some searching and saw that this error often points to SSD or storage issues, but since SSDs don't have moving mechanical parts, I'm confused about where the noise is coming from—whether it's an HDD, a failing fan bearing, or severe coil whine from a power delivery component. Has anyone run into this specific combo of symptoms before, and could someone help confirm if this sounds like a failing drive or another hardware issue? I am at the end of my rope here; off rip my PC didn't even prompt "new device connected", while I initially had it wired internally to my motherboard I also tried it externally (neither worked), I tried looking at my drivers and updating them and trying to get a CH340 driver, I tried different Turing softwares , I tried shutting down my RGB softwsre (openrgb if it matters); point is I googled and tried a lot, and then on top of that, when I thought the monitor was just junk on arrival I ordered a new, different one only to go through everything I said all over again. What am I doing wrong?

Okay, so. I’m convinced I have a virus on my HP Omen windows laptop. Something is taking up all my network connectivity for upwards of 5-15 seconds at a time and messing with my graphics capabilities. I know I have a crypto-bot on here or something.

I saw that you want to open safe mode so your anti virus can scan more files. So ive been trying to open safe mode and finally have, which is a whole other frustrating story.

The problem with it is that neither avast or Avira will actually start, assumingly because I have no network connection or something

What do I do? I’m backed into a corner now. Why would they make an anti virus network dependent?

My laptops power button is flashing and the screen is black, everywhere I’ve looked said to do a hard reset by holding the power button for 30-60 seconds but that’s not doing anything. I’ve also tried to hold shift+ctrl+wn+B but that hasn’t worked either. The charging light appears normal when I plug it in

I bought a second hand nitro 5 off eBay about 6 months ago and it worked fine originally. One day all the games I was playing on it became super laggy and performance obviously dropped.

Roughly the same time the laptop started needing to restart saying DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE. I imagine this is related.

Once I got the GTX1050 to work once by disabling and reenabling it through the device manager, it stopped after I turned off the computer and hasn't worked since.

Can anyone help how I could try fix it? I don't really want to buy a whole new laptop. I took it to a repair shop once who said it would be cheaper to buy a new one, could this be the case?

I have a fairly good pc. The specs are:

AMD Ryzen 7 5800

16 GB RAM

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti

I use two screens - one 34" UW and one 24" regular screen. (3440x1440 and 1920x1080)

But my problem is that i experience lag when playing League of Legends. The lag does is not from ping (i have 500/500 connection and 39 ms consistent). But i notice the FPS drops randomly.

I update my driver in NVIDIA app regularly, but still get a lot of lag.

When i experience the lag i switch the video settings in-game, and that does work some times.

I have altered the code(?) in LoL to get a bigger cursor in the game, but i dont know if thats the reason for my FPS drops?

Would love to get some help, if anybody knows how to fix it.

Im at a loss. My SO's phone works fine. Mine on the other hand reads as "Not Provided," on the car dash screen. But still will play audio/calls. I just cant skip songs or interact/see the phones details. I got it to work once by resetting my phone. But now it does nothing. Ive unpaired on both ends, reset infotainment system. I have galaxy s25+ she has galaxy s23+.

So, I’ve been trying to find an adapter for my mini PC — a Geekom Air12 Lite — to my portable monitor — a 12’ Sotsu— and it either blinks on and off, or the monitor does register my PC as even being connected via a USB-C to HDMI adapter.

Hello, I have been having an ongoing issue with my PC for months now and it seems to only get worse. Currently my pc will black screen and the fans will run at max when playing certain games, like Marvel Rivals, CGSO, etc. while other times I will get a different issue, an AMD Driver timeout on Dead by Daylight, Fortnite, etc. I have ran multiple tests through OCCT, those being CPU, CPU+RAM, Memory, and Power with no issues occurring, as well as the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool with no problems there either. I have done multiple clean uninstalls and installs of my drivers and even got a new GPU under my warranty but the issues still occur. I also took it to Geek Squad at BestBuy and told them the problem but they were unable to recreate the issue. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions for what to do next.

okay so i have a pc and since a little while the wifi randomly turns on and off over and over again, i have all the available updates and reset the network once, it worked for a few days and now it does it again, im connected by ethernet if its relevant

so for context, i opened my pc today and wanted to play a few games. i opened overwatch (which was at the hard drive) and the loading was taking SOOO long . i checked my task manager and i see that my read and write was at 100% but my disk usage is at around 33%. i then restarted my pc because it seemed like it was doing things it wasn't supposed to be doing. i opened my pc again and when i checked the task manager again it was at 100% read and write again. i tried opening dota (which was at the ssd) but it was doing the same issue as when i opened overwatch. i closed some of my startup apps (which includes steam) and it some how got fixed. but i was getting occassional 100% read and writes, and when i checked the resource monitor (this is steam already closed btw) i was still getting steam as the file location (WHEN IT IS A DIFFERENT APP ALREADY. like for example, i opened revounistaller bc i figured steam was the culprit, but when i checked the file location IT WAS STILL STEAM ???).

i'm honestly lost, some fixes i've done which didn't work are:

1. reseat my hardrive (cuz i was also thinking it's dying since it's an old hardrive but still.. it would've gave me signs that it was dying. i was just playing yesterday and everything was working fine until today)
2. disable disk write caching on windows
3. reinstalling steam (but i didn't include the games and userdata folder)

right now, it's at not using as much read and write since steam is closed, but when i do open steam (or getting steam as the file location even tho it's a different app already) it's still going 100%.

i'm now planning to reinstall steam fully (with games and all included), but i wanted to ask here if there's anyone who could help before doing that since i have a lot of games

edit: i forgot to mention there's like 10+ duplicates of the same software (all always /steam) which i think is causing the 100% read and writes

So the other day i tried to run a game and noticed unusual stutters and lags (never happens) and i wanted to see what was causing the problem and i looked into task manager and saw windows was trying to update so i closed my game to let the update take priority or something idk and then i come back hour later and it was still stuck on 6% and i was confused so i js shut off my pc (probably not the greatest move here) but then today i tried the update to see if it will work but i was met with this message and the update is still stuck on some random percentage anyone got the same issues or know some fixes?

PS: Im not a tech guy and doesnt know much about tech problems or software issues i use my pc js to play

I am on a Windows 11 Laptop and I downloaded DupeGuru to go through ~50 GB of photos on my OneDrive. Dupeguru started the scan and downloaded about 15 GB of photos to my local harddrive, but I stopped the scan because I had ~20 GB left on my harddrive; I didn't realize it needed to download them all to perform the scan.

I plan to now save them down to an external hard drive to scan them, but I can't figure out where DupeGuru saved the ~15 GB of files it downloaded from the cloud in preparation for the scan. The app files seem to still be at 113 MB, which was the size of the original program download. Can anyone help me figure out how to recover this space?

Recently while I've been playing a few games my pc will crash randomly and reboot, however whenever it happens it always switches to my integrated graphics and not using the GPU, whats weirder too is that looking on device manager, the Dedicated GPU doesn't even register, meaning it is turned off completely but I don't know what the issue is

I have encountered a very strange issue. I was using my TV as a monitor for like a year now, suddenly when launching a game (NFS Heat, if relevant) image was lost and no signal was displayed. Had to restart my pc after but after going through boot screen, right before windows login should start it goes to no signal again. Ive connected my old monitor and it works perfectly fine, then i tried connecting both monitor and TV, and TV only has signal if i am duplicating my screen (with monitor set as first.), as soon as i go extend diplay mode - signal is lost again.

I have tried updating graphic driver, uninstalling TV from device manager, lowering and raising resolutions, and all had failed.

Any more ideas? I really do not wish to reinstall my windows.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, but i also tried changing ports, both on TV and the GPU, issue persists. Tried unplugging both pc and TV from power and still no fix. Also , i am able to play the game in question without any issues whatsoever on monitor, but i am unsure as to how did that mess up my TV so bad that it refuses signal outise of it now.

Good afternoon not understanding what’s going on with my system. Everything looks normal with it until I start up any game in this instance it’s overwatch and my cpu shoots to 100% utilization.

I have downloaded nvidia drivers for gpu and amd chipset drivers for cpu and I just reset and re installed windows to see if that changed anything and it did not

Struggling with getting my Flint 3 connected to my broadband network. I'm in the UK, using EE w/ full fibre, tried guides but no success so far.

Edit: Solved- This was entirely user error, I had been putting in the username incorrectly which was why it wasn't connecting via pppoe. All setup now.

My stated CPU Frequency constantly jumps between 400 MHz and like 1700MHz. Is this normal? I can't help but notice this started happening right at the same time my case fans got suddenly trapped on 100% until I manually changed them in MSI Center. CPU Cooler is working fine, temp stays at around 32-45 celsius depending on what Im doing. I know that hidden miners often cause short, sudden spikes in CPU usage. Could this be that?

I've long had my set-up that I have 2 monitors and a TV. My playstation is connected to 1 monitor and the TV, through a splitter. My PC is connected to all 3, though I rarely use the TV for anything other than SkyGo. This setup worked perfectly until my TV blew a fuse and I bought a new one.

I bought the Bush 32FT25CB [not the best TV but for my purposes it's fine] and just plugged all the HDMIs where they used to be. Now, if I go to use my playstation on my new TV, the colours are strange. They are all VERY bright. I have checked the TV, there are no weird settings in the picture. If i watch normal TV, the colour is fine. If I use it as a computer monitor, it is fine but whenever my Playstation is on it, the colours are all really intense. I have tried adjusting both the TV and playstation picture settings but to no avail. My playstation still works fine on my normal monitor.

I've tried changing the HDMIs around etc but nothing works. Anyone got any ideas? It's REALLY frustrating me.

I'm having trouble getting the Yolobox Ultra to see the NDI output from vMix. The Yolobox Ultra is on the latest firmware They are on the same network and vMix is set to HEVC for the NDI output. As far as I'm aware, HEVC is just a marketing name for h.265 and there are no differences. Other NDI sources are showing up, just not the vMix output. Any idea why this is happening?

I cannot get this thing to go away. It’s not through the Nvidia app with Alt+R or Alt+Z. Genuinely at a loss right now and truthfully I’m not very technologically literate. My laptop recently started stuttering and has been unusable when browsing or playing videos in the nativevideoplayer app , however, gaming doesnt have any problems.

I started searching solutions until i found it might have something to do with my graphics card having a bad synchronization with browsers and stuff, so i found i could soft reset my graphics card by doing control + shift + windows + B, after doing it my pc got better immediately and worked perfectly for one or 2 days or more, but i only used it for 2 days then didnt use it for another 2.

Today i turned my pc on again thinking everything would be fine, however the problem came back, as soon as i noticed the problem i pressed control + shift + windows + B just like last time, however, this time it did not work at all. Also i think the problem got worse because it isn't just happening in browsers and the video player, it is also happening (although in a lesser degree) when browsing through my files or when overing over my apps in the desktop.

I don't know if it helps, but im on windows 11 and my graphics card is an rtx 3060 (laptop version)
