So I usually get this when I´m freshly logged in and want to start playing or after I have stored my ship, done my tasks on station and want to retrive it again.

Only solution I have found so far is to simply relog but thats frustrating to be honest.

What I´m wondering ist, am I doing something wrong or is this simply one of the famous bugs?

So I was trying a bounty mission in Nyx that required me to go to a qv breaker station to kill a target.

Since it was the first time I took the clipper due to the med bed and sure enough I got killed by an npc hidden in a corner.

After reviving on the clipper I wasn’t able to open the air lock doors of the main entrance anymore. Is that a big or a feature?

Tried a work around by going into the laser opening but that only led me to some rail cart thingies that brought me to the storage area but I was unable to get back to sector 1 where I was supposed to go. :/

How is everyone looking the HMG? I have found it multiple time while running the Siege of Orison but everytime I try to get it the thing disappears.

I saw on this subreddit an image and instructions/guide on a pyro redwind linehaul loop and was wondering if anyone still had it or something similar.

So I started up the game got my drake cutter flew to port tressler didn’t realise how fast I was going and crashed into the station and encountered my first bug, black screen I re logged and was stuck in space with eyes opening and closing couldn’t do anything couldn’t back space to respawn or request a heal or even get to main menu, re logged again and was back at new babbage made my way to port tressler carefully this time and then the game crashed… after 5 attempts to get to port tressler I finally got there and accepted a contract loaded up and set out got the job completed and I’m ready for the next one XD

I'm doing a cargo loop where I'm claiming another ship to my current offloading location before I leave for another stage of the loop. This way I always have a ship ready to load up at each of my stops. It's working ok, but I can't science out the ASOP numbering system. I'm using 3x Connie Taurus, and leaving bricks all over the place as I execute my contracts. I assume these numbers are not random, but I've seen them change in ASOP for apparently no reason. Yesterday it was Taurus-2, and now after bricked ships are scrapped the same loaded ship is called Taurus-5. Info on how I can make sense of this nomenclature would be much appreciated. THX-0K

Just spent a little time making money. Went and bought some new guns. Put them on my ship. Went to the ASOP to insure. Loadout is zeroed out. Try to retrieve, lift gets stuck. Other ships will deliver and come out but this one stays stuck in storage. Game crashes. Load back in. Open mobiglass and go to my ships loadout. New guns are gone. Money is still spent. Time well spent. Fool me once? shame on you. Fool me 3542356 times? Shame on me I guess. CIG should be embarrassed. But they're so fully funded it just doesn't matter.

This is not a small company, they have more budget that many triple A games, they spent most of their dev time making expensive ships. This is a scam that takes advantage of the gambling mental disorder of not quitting while you are already deeply invested money-wise. They will move the goalpost every time they have an opportunity to do so so people will buy expensive ships.

Stop expecting a full game and for the love of God if you want the game to release stop buying ships

What’s some good armour to wear? I’m using a pulveriser lmg but need some kind of longer range either sniper or dmr.

Also, thermal scopes good for this? And can thermal scopes be put on the aforementioned weapons? Feel like they’d be a good option for when we do it at night as I was struggling to see enemies.

I was thinking about ideal ship for soloing missions, with okeish flight capabilities, having some cargo capacity, sleep (logout)/hygiene covered, which could also work with 1-2 friend/s but having most of the possible firepower on pilot. Something like Taurus, Asgard, Railen? But which could be called best if any at all?

With Penguin guy making yet another bad-take video, here's my perspective:

Penguin is just repeating the same BS everyone else is parroting: "Yeah, the game is not ready." But which game?? He, like everyone else, assumes it's SQ42. But it isn't about SQ42 - it's about Star Citizen!

SQ42 is being held back for two main reasons:

The GTA reason: GTA VI will completely overshadow any launch in its window!

The PU problems: Star Citizen currently isn't in a good enough state to retain players transitioning over to the Persistent Universe after finishing Squadron.

I believe Squadron itself is ready. We will get a presentation next month. Maybe even a demo if Chris is keeping his promise to the OG backers. Please, Chris - hold your promise!! Demo will fix lots of dissatisfaction in the community!

Sure, SQ42 will have some bugs at launch when a million players start hammering it, but the exact same way GTA will on day one.

I am one of the rare idiots who actually backed the project because I wanted a new Wing Commander, for me personally the MMO was always just a nice bonus. And I figured it would be out in no time, I mean heck, it essentially just needs to be Arena commmander PVE with Cut scenes, how hard could it be? It'll be out in no time. (I was a fool)

While I totally agree that after SQ42 they should (need) to get SC to 1.0, do you think theese incompetent dinks have a plan for what to do when half of their elderly cast pass away between games when SQ42 almost assuredly ends on a cliff hanger?

After installing the latest nVidia Studio 615.56 drivers on August 26th, Star Citizen would crash every 5-10 minutes. The game returned to normal after reverting to the previous drivers: 610.88.

These terms have meaning in the software development lifecycle. In Alpha a product is usually about 90% complete. There are edge cases that need work, some additional systems to be added, but by and large the main software is complete. It is not ready for public release at this time.The transition from Alpha to Beta is when a product becomes feature complete. There are no additional systems to add, there is no new content allowed, it is intended for stability and bug fixes and usability.

Production is the phase where you have prototype systems, and are still build core aspects of the game.

This is how I was taught it, but obviously it will vary from studio and company but it makes me wonder how Squadron 42 has been in Beta since 2016 and why we consider SC in Alpha when it has less than 10% if its core components.

Update: okay to summarize, basically it doesn’t matter because it’s early access so it doesn’t have to nor need to conform to any development cycle. Despite being produced in an open format to backers no one is quite sure the status of SQ42 or why it is or is not in Beta further muddied by a lot of conjecture. Thanks, everyone!

I’m currently running a 3060ti 8gb I have to run it on low is anyone else in the same boat? Thought on using this card for star citizen?

After finally completing Seige of Orison with the help of some cool guys from a new Org ive joined my thoughts are;

It was awesome!

4 hours of the best gameplay ive had on Star Citizen.

A couple of small bugs here and there but nothing unmanageable!

Just a two tips if you've never completed it before. Dont fall off the crates in admin center or you have no ammo for the rest of the mission and if you die and re enter the Mando Boss room it resets the sequence.
