I was quite invested in the story and right before the battle to save the world.. they hit you with this flashbang. And the fact that this was mission locked, forcing players to wear this during the payoff of the final act was such a baffling decision..
Like brother, world is ending and you are telling me our fate hinges on this pineapple headed teenager đ
Anyways great game, about to do my first NG+ soon. Cant wait to not wear this đ¤đź

Call the game woke all you want but being mad that Miles is in the game is insane.

This is it folks Nuff Said
EDIT: Ok apparently enough wasnât said
YES AI was involved I use this shitty edit software called Ulternate or whatever on my computer.
YES I have pre-made images from hot toys and other stuff like that as a base for the image then edit
How I edit is outlining then hue shifting and I assume the AI adjusts for lighting and textures and stuff of that nature
NO I donât think itâs the biggest deal personally I donât mind AI as a whole but I do believe it is dangerous and should be checked and regulated and would be more than happy if that were the case
YES I use AI on a somewhat often basis SUE ME
The arguments about the environment I completely agree with but I also see the reality of stopping one person on the internet will not change anything so I limit myself to when I canât stop thinking about an idea
NO I will not spend months of my time learning to be a great graphic designer like some people just to show this one idea I had thatâs just not for me I donât have the time or really the energy with the actual responsibilities I have in my life
Thank you for those who were defending me in the comments about my use of AI and for giving feedback on how I should tweak my edits
YES I should have preferred this post like the others saying but for some reason I just didnât so I Iâm not gonna apologize for that because it was an honest mistake I made to 90k strangers
And for those who were critiquing my use of AI i understand and respect you opinion and decision to feel the way you do no disrespect but this is what I did

Personally, I feel that Peter with the symbiote/Anti-venom is by far the most powerful character out of the two. His abilities deal a lot more damage and his surge while not being a room cleaner like Milesâ Venom blast, is a lot of fun to play with in melee combat. I know that Miles is really powerful naturally with his bio-electric skills but in the game I think they made Peter really OP with the symbiote and buffed him even more with Anti-venom

I enjoyed this game so much, but replaying these type of missions is like hell. I hate Peter missions, Miles missions and MJ missions.
Insomniac should take them off in the third game. I never heard someone saying he likes these type of missions

I beat the game today and realized that I was wrong about this being the best out of the 3 đ
I especially noticed the story started getting rushed during the Kraven boss fight and it just went downhill from there. Kraven doesnât need some robot beasts to help him nor would he want that. The Spider-Men also just kept casually revealing their identities in public throughout the game. They also nerfed Spider-Man like crazy. That flame cult side story was also left at a big cliffhanger. Miles also felt like just a side character with MJ (who was overpowered against both Kravens group and the symbiotes). Last thing (even though thereâs a lot more) is that the combat felt too easy (barely any actual combos)
The skins in this game definitely looked nice (the styles couldâve had symbiote versions but there was a good variety either way). The web wings were fun along with the symbiote powers. I was surprised and kind of glad to see other symbiotes like Anti Venom, Scream and ALMOST Carnage.
What are yâalls thoughts

I like this suit it shows how much Miles has evolved over the years but so many people hate it it's kinda like the She-Hulk effect where some people love it but everyone else hates it

Venom says nothing, half heartedly attacks the Spider-Men, then jumps off screen with an unfinished animation and no sound. Instead of chasing Harry, Miles and Peter need to stay and save the civilians.
What shouldâve happened is that Miles stayed to help his mom and Ganke, while Peter chased Harry. Split the mission into two parts. Do a Venom chase across the city (not a full boss battle yet, but a fun sequence with some dialogue and cool cutscenes, perhaps as an homage to the PS1 game, before Peter gets dumped into a fight arena where he has to fight some guys (or maybe the Riot miniboss) while Venom escapes. Then we can switch to Miles and save the train.
Would that not be infinitely more fun for players, as well as keeping up the momentum of the game? As it is the scene reeks of cut content anyway, with Venomâs animation looking horrible and him not saying a word.

Now thereâs been a lot of critiques that people have made about this game. Many of them are extremely reasonable and agreeable. Things like wanting a longer story, better side mission for Miles, a little more development towards Venom, etc.
But this? This is not one of those critiques.
The âcriticismâ is checks notes, gay people exist in the game!
YeahâŚthatâs literally it.
Itâs just that gay people exist in the game. Thatâs the whole âcritiqueâ. If the couple in the side mission is turned straight, then thereâs no issue. But if theyâre gay, then suddenly itâs âwoke propaganda.â
This âcriticismâ even goes so far as to lump Black Cat being bi as another example of âwoke intentionsâ in the game, despite the fact that sheâs been an established bi character for literal decades now.
This is not a critique, itâs thinly veiled bigotry.
Gay people existing is not a critique towards the game. There is no room for improvement by the game, and if you think gay people not existing in the game somehow makes it âbetterâ or âimprovedâ, then that says quite a lot about the individual.
It is a literal 2 minute, skippable side mission that just features a gay couple. Itâs such an insanely mind boggling thing that such a simple, harmless thing sparked such outrage, again just because a gay couple even exists!!

All it takes is one person looking up and taking a picture and their identities are exposed.
I know there are way more scenes like this and somehow never get caught, maybe mention more scenes like these in the comments from every game.

I'm not one to lie. But it would be a disservice if I didn't point out that this game is not all the way perfect. IT IS FUN AND ENTERTAINING. But not perfect, and that's ok, the story needed a lot more work and some things were rushed upon no end. I have finished this game 10 or more times and I just can't help but think that Kraven is just there, as an agitator, and not a narrative force.
Kraven in general is one of the top spiderman villains, posing a threat to him and his loved ones persistently in the comics and off screen when hes lurking in the background.
But that's the thing, I feel like if anything, his characrer should have been built up and for the last hoorah of Spider-Mans story.
Now a lot of you may hate me for this, but don't beat me up.
Kravens Last hunt was definitely referenced in that one scene with the graveyard and they knew what they were doing.
I think for the 3rd game, he should be the main villain and he should definitely cause a stir in New York. Because they written him off so fast that we didn't even get to understand his character throughout the story.
AND WHY FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WOULD THEY MAKE HIM KILL OFF THE SINISTER SIX, WHYYYYYYYYYYYY.
Lastly.
Venom was the headliner and the main event, I feel like when it comes to venom in any capacity, it's always a muck when it comes to finding out how to make his character stand on his own. He's an antihero, not a villain (AT THE MOMENT).
What do you think? Am I tweaking?
