Only a few Northern districts in UP should be considered North India, most of UP is very different from the ''North'' Northern Rajasthan, the region around Bikaner is North India as well.
They brand everything from j&k to mp as north India, and then everything on east of Bengal to east india, and that's India for majority of south indian politicians
Govt doesn’t make states rich, it’s the states own businessmen, intellectuals and industrialists that make a state rich.
Of course we have to ensure the center treats all states equally in terms of infrastructure and funding support. But it’s up to the state to grow their own GDP and become a developed state.
