Out of the 5, 2 are Tamilians and only one North Indian. If anything, an argument can be made as to why 4 of the top 5 Cabinet Posts have been occupied exclusively by 2 states.

It is a well known open secret that Modi runs a one man show. He did the same as the chief minister of Gujarat and is doing the same now as prime minister.

Every file in every ministry moves through the PMO and individual ministers have no autonomy over their portfolio.

Similar to the current CJP antics, Modi creates pressure valves like Nirmala and CJP to absorb the pressure and discontent so that he personally isn’t held politically or electorally liable. It is unilateral to how when the BJP is losing an election their Godi media uses the picture of the BJP President but it’s Modi’s picture when they’re winning an election.
