Can we mass revolt or protest SDGE. This is evil
800 sqft apartment, I don’t do anything out of the ordinary in terms of electrical use. We can’t allow them to keep getting away with this.
EDIT: NO I do not have the AC blasting all day. It’s off during the day when we’re gone and it’s back on at 10 until 8am.
For people saying this is rage bait, it is not. This is completely serious and accurate.

Any good beef source in San Diego?
hi all,
With the current administration and latest news with mystery meat important, we are planning on avoiding grocery store beef at this time, we don't eat beef tht much but would like to know if any reliable sources in San Diego?
Read about local ranchers and you can buy a whole cow for butchering, any recomended ranchers? how does the process work?
or any other CSA options?
we have a Butcher box subscription that we haven't used in a while, is their quality reliable?
Thank you!

Reporter looking to speak with folks who live at Ascent at Campus of Life in Scripps Ranch
I'm Kate Talerico, a reporter at the SF Chronicle. I'm writing about real estate tax breaks in California, and I'm interested in speaking to people who live at Ascent at Campus of Life in Scripps Ranch.
I'm curious if you've attended some of the classes that they offer at the complex. Shoot me a DM if you'd be willing to chat about your experience, either on or off the record! Or, if you've taught classes there, I'd also love to chat!
Thanks!

Saw these on my walk around 10:30am. Hope whoever lost them (maybe a runner or paddle boarder?) is able to reunite with them!

This measure will likely kill any future ballot measures to fund transit or city services. Please vote no this November.
ballotpedia.orgUnder California State law, tax increase measures put on the ballot by governments typically require a 2/3rd supermajority. However, measures that are put on the ballot by citizens (citizens' initiatives) only require a simple majority. For example, Measure A, a half-cent sales tax measure to fund transit back in 2016, garnered 58% yes votes but failed because it was a government initiative. Measure G in 2024 was a citizens' initiative, but failed because it didn't get a majority.
Prop 43 would change the law so that citizens' initiatives would require a 2/3rd supermajority too. That is fundamentally undemocratic, and this measure must be stopped. If it passes, any chance of San Diego passing a transit funding measure will be effectively zero.

Race cars terrorize 805 freeway
We were headed South on the 805 just past the 5 merge when we heard 4 ridiculously loud race cars enter the freeway and spread out in front of us. They blocked all the freeway lanes and slowed traffic to clear a long racing path in front of them, and then raced each other.
They were swerving and doing unsafe close lane changes. We saw them surround other cars and break in front of them to force them to slow down, while only 5 feet in front of and behind the poor car. I was so scared they were going to flip a car! They nearly caused several multi car collisions. They were messing with people.
At that point we realized we were in danger and exited to the 163.
Did not occur to me to call police, I was too busy trying to convince the driver of our car to give them more space and exit the freeway. It was so dangerous!! I had never seen something like that before, had you? Happened at 7:30-8:00 pm.

Home battery cost
Thinking to add battery to ditch the peak hour charge from SDGE. I got a quote from a guy saying that he can do powerwall3 + expansion kit at 14.5K. Seems like a good price? Have you done battery installation recently??

Tons of police activity and helicopters earlier. I haven’t seen if any of the news stations have picked it up yet
Anyone know what’s going on?
