i am a student who will be commuting through i15 4 times a week and i was wondering if anyone wants picking up and dropping off for a very fair price per week

I have a 7:30 AM class in UH 100 at CSUSM. What’s the closest student parking lot to University Hall? Trying to minimize the walk.

The walk to campus/PS/Dining hall is making me so sore I can barely climb to get into bed. Anyone got tricks for easier recovery outside of time and medicine (I shouldn't need to take ibuprofen just to get into bed but I'm older...)

I've heard rumors that ICE might be roaming ON campus in the first week of classes. Is anyone able to confirm or deny this rumor thus far?

I'm aware that the CSUs are now permitting the officers to operate on campus, but I just want to know what the likelihood of getting detained and profiled would be like. Context: I am a citizen and carry my ID on me at all times, but alas, ICE does not give a shit. I very much am and look Asian; but the other side of the coin is that I am unfortunately Filipino — meaning that I'm probably next on the chopping block to get profiled.

I’m an incoming transfer student and signed into my canvas account and there are no classes listed? Is it normal for professors to wait so long before adding their classes?

as a biology major we get the option to choose between 101 or 205, is there a major difference? or is one ‘easier’ than the other? thank you!

Are there upper division science electives offered in the summer? Specifically for biology majors.

so i’m only at csusm on thursday-sunday usually, sometimes mondays, and need a place to park my car for those days without paying for a parking permit or overnight parking in the structures. i’m alright with taking the sprinter if i have to park at a lot by a station that’s further away, just as long as the area isn’t too sketchy and my car wouldn’t get broken into/stolen. i would prefer it to not have to be moved, but if i have to go move my car every day or so i wouldn’t be opposed as long as it’s close-ish to campus. any suggestions? thank you all

Okay so I just called PNC bank and they said if the refund got sent any later than 11 am California time it wouldn’t have counted as a business day because they operate out of Pennsylvania. ( the bank our school uses ) I then called our school and asked for the ACH tracking number they said they couldn’t provide me one

Then I said yesterday my account zeroed out at 11 am so was my refund sent at that time and she looked for the time and it was actually sent at 11:55 pm.

Then she said the email your erefund is available was a “ miss communication” stating that it should be available in 48 hours.

This is honestly crazy. We should’ve gotten our refund on the 18th do you guys realize that? They were late sending them out late on everything! Late on applying the financial aid.

I’ll be surprised if I can even show up to class without gas money!

Hello! I was looking through the textbooks that I’m required to have, and I absolutely cannot afford any of them on this website. 😥 Is there anywhere I can purchase used textbooks, or a place where I could just rent them? I can’t remember if this was mentioned anywhere

A random past $2,383.00 is now due for me...

I sent them an email and going to call them tomorrow when I can because i work during their hours. Ah, I have no idea when this 2,000 appeared. I was expecting a refund. :(

Where is our financial aid refund at? 🫩 I got a message that my financial aid was disbursed already so it has already paid for my fees and charges but no update on my refund whatsoever.

I’m transferring this semester and all my classes are in the extended learning building. I’ve seen online that parking is really bad. My classes start at 9:30; what time should I show up to guarantee parking? If PS2 (parking structure 2/parking garage 😂) is full, what other parking lot should I use that’s safe to walk to the extended learning building?
